www.autobytel.com/honda/cr-v/2... There are a lot of folks that are calling the 2015 Honda CR-V the best of the bunch when it comes to small Crossover SUVs. Honda has made a slew of changes to the 2015 CR-V starting of course with the styling. But its what’s underneath that makes the big difference; the suspension has been revamped causing the ride and handling to be much more comfortable. The base price for the new 2015 Honda CR-V is $23,320.
Under the hood is the new 2.4 liter Earth Dreams engine and CVT transmission. Power is rated at 185 horsepower and 181 lb-ft. of torque. Fuel economy figures are 27 MPG in the city and 34 MPG on the highway. If you are looking for something with more power than the Ford EcoBoost might be up your alley. The new CR-V also has a bunch of safety features.

The CRV , like most Hondas, does not stand out in any one particular feature, but it just seems to do everything very well.

Honda is well known for precision, smoothness, less noise and mileage. CRV also following it.

Nice overall but a lot of people are reporting bad idle vibration issues with the CRV.

I made the mistake of buying the 2015. The vibration problem is nerve racking. It has transmission problem written all over it. :(

I own a 2016 CRV EX AWD and only complaint I have is the Bridgestone tires it comes with the SUV. It handle poorly in snow even with the AWD so Honda should stop using those tires on their CRV and go with another brand. Our previous 2014 Toyota Rav4 handle great in snow and when we bought the CRV hoping it will do as well but nope!

Why would anyone get the 2.0 petrol CR-V with CVT while the 1.6 diesel has more power and more torque and comes with 9 speed automatic gearbox?

The interior looks cheap. Hard plastics everywhere. The front grille makeover and the wheels are not attractive to me.

I would not even think of getting a Honda with Awd or 4wd because they use that real time crap the best AWD SYSTEM IS IN THE SUBARUS Outback Legacy Impreza and all Subaru's

Current Honda owner and currently shopping for an AWD vehicle, with a high safety rating, and good cargo room. Subaru outback seemed like a no brainer. Just got done with 2 weeks of Subaru research, loved the ride, felt like my 07 civic but sturdier, without being rigid or stiff. Here are my thoughts. A Subaru comparabily equiped to this $23,000 CRV (nav system, leather seats, safety alert system) will run you about $28,000 (legacy)-32,000 (outback), or $5,000 to $9,000 more than this CRV. Both the legacy and outback go from 0 to 60 in OVER NINE seconds,(www.cargurus.com/Cars/2015-Subaru-Outback-Overview-c24458) which is fine in most cases, its not like I'm looking to go street racing. But trying to merge on highways can be pretty stressful and shitty. So ok you are sacrificing a car with some pep, you must be getting awesome MPG as a trade off right? Nope, the outbacks listed as a average 28 MPG and most subaru message boards i have visited have newer Subaru drivers saying they don't get anywhere close to that. The die hard Subaru owners and brand loyalist just seem to accept this because they love the brand so much. Let's say you don't give a crap about MPG, you love the car, so let's solve the slow pick up problem and get a V6. The problem there is that both the legacy and outback only have the V6 in the limited models, the legacy starts $32,000 to $34,000 and the outback starts at $35,000 to $37,000, so by the time you add taxes and tags to those trim packages, you're pay 35 to 40 thousand dollars...for a Subaru. You can get low end luxury cars for that price, volvo S60 and audi a4 that have AWD and V6 or at least a V4 with a turbo start lower than both of those, and you wont be dumping gas into them. I loved the ride, the look, and the brand. The center consoles for the 2015 legacy and outbacks were GREAT looking too. But after researching what else is out there, you can get way more for your money. I was really surprised how expensive both models were, I thought they were more a competitor with the Accord and CRV, but nope, they are priced higher. Maybe their AWD is superior, I don't know. I would have to handle both cars in the snow to know for sure. But it would appear that is the only thing they have on its competition, and I am not going to pay more money for a car that only beats out its competition in ONE category and is significantly more expensive.

Billy Dee$23,000 is not what this CRv costs, it is the cheapest LX FWD price. You have to step up to EX-L w/Nav which costs more than comparable Legacy.

Ugly as hell. What happened to the good old days?? 185BHP is a weak engine. It will wear out quickly than you think.

You have no clue in what you are talking about. Please stop. 185hp in this size of vehicle is the norm and will do very well for people wanting this vehicle.
