my engine is very noisy and i would like to get some help on identifying where the noise is coming from. i feel like it's coming from the high-pressure fuel pump or the camshaft follower. any advice will help. If i fix the problem, i will let you guys know.
symptoms: every time I step on the gas pedal, I could hear and feel some knocking sound. with this video, i was able to pin point the knocking sound coming from the high pressure fuel pump. I replace the fuel pump and the cam follower.
update: the car is running smoothly with no issues.
