perfect drop bro!! I heard from a buddy that I needed to buy new front leaf spring bolts, it's good to see that they were included in the kit. I need to get out and do mine, this stock height sucks.
Thank u bro and yea everything is included in the kit. And its really simple to do. The best part there's no vibration at any speed and yesterday I went fishing and tow my boat and ride quality 👌
That's great and yes it super simple only thing I would not install is the chims made my truck had some small vibration around 24 to 26mph That's it. Try it with them out and see
Truck looks nice bro im in the process of getting my build together i want to do 24s but dont know what the biggest tire would be that can fit a 2/4 drop do you have any recomendations??
Thanks bro and congrats in your buy and to be honest on the highway it's great buy on the stop and go.. that when u see the mpg go down and u cam feel the weight on the wheels it's more on the rotation mass
Great video bro! Are you still riding with the front valance on? It kinda looks low like it will hit something; just wondering how it’s been now that you’ve had it for over a year now. Thanks.
Yes sr still have it on. Never had any issues with it. And I do take it off road sometimes when I have to go bass fishing with the boat over here at falcon state park
I’m in North Texas as well, DFW area. I have the same kit, going to install it next week. The directions say the thick part of the shim goes towards the front. I saw in the comments you say the rear, I am confused now.
Nice truck man. Im thinking about this same kit for my 2019. You mention that after you installed the kit there was no vibration at any speed. Before you installed the kit where you having a vibration issue? Thanks man!
Thank u and no vibration what so ever because I had some kits before on my previous trucks and the chips would affect the drive line.. but over all on the 5.0 works great and when towing as well
Well here has went I had when I first put the kid on it I didn't put the wedges all the way in they were just halfway cuz I had wanted the pegs in the whole and not the slotted so I had vibrations with it like that my brother told me to take the shims all the way out I took them all the way out said it right there on top of the spring is steel vibrated worse so when I went back to third time I slid the wedges all the way up under there with the fat part pointing towards the front of the truck and it eased up some of it calm the vibration down but I still got it but I got all the three inch 3° wedge up under it so I'm fixing to have to call them they going to have to give me something or do something hell I ain't riding around with it like that
Yeah I even got the fat part of the wedge facing the rear right now and it's really bad so I got to change that back over I was just trying that to see what the deal was but I've had them damn shims all the way out slung all over that damn truck and it's still vibrates
Yeah I've already done that buddy I've had them all the way out nothing on there no matter how I put the shims or I took them all the way out it's still vibrates and I've done the kit right how they put it on so I don't know I can't get ahold of belltech you know
It tows really good. With the boat it's normal. But with the two truck and trailer it gose down about 1" but rides perfectly and there enough clearance between the bump stomps and the dif
Thanks bro and no difference in mpg . And my drop is a 3/4 but I just lower my truck 2" from but when u got 3" fron u have to drill the alignment bolts on the bottom control arm and I didn't Wana mess with that and yes sr I have 24" wheels all around I have a video on my channel if u Wana check it out
I saw you use the floor jack to take the tension off the leaf spring is that the perfect way to do it? I was kinda of curious about that. Video 4:17 DiD you put your jack holders on both sides?
How’s the ride quality been I’m looking to do this same kit on my 2018 super cab I’m just hoping I don’t lose my Cadillac ride quality on highway I’m okay with stiff just not bumpy bc I have a decent amount of pothole where I live
@@boosteddave4603 I didn’t do the install but I’m assuming they did. But I noticed the bolts are on the inside(opposite to your install) maybe that’s what creating the noise?
Nope everything fits perfectly.. just remember to set the Pinon angle correctly.. or u can done one side at a time in the rear and u won't have any issues with the Pinon angle
Just installed this same kit , my bed shakes when going over bumps which I can see in the mirror and also feel inside the cab, I have a 23 f150 single cab 4x4 . I don’t get any driveshaft vibration . Only issue is the bed shakes when going over bumps . Did yours do the same ? Is this normal?
@@boosteddave4603 sucks you can’t lower the truck a bit with out having issues . I don’t want to go back to stock but having my bed shake is no fun , what should I look for in the shackles ?
@Exclusive MotorSports make sure the plastic between the pin is not broken.. and also check the all the bolts again because.. we have my bros single cab running a way lower kit and it's perfect with no chims no vibration at any speed
@@boosteddave4603 yeah I did 2/4 but mine is a 4wd maybe that’s why ? I called belltech bc I took it to 3 shops and they all said they can’t get it to align . Thanks man ! Nice truck
@@alfonsoluna9882 thanks bro and u have to cut a lill on the lower control arms. On the instructions it has the exact measurements. Bro and that will get u a perfect alignment.
So they brought me a truck that has a flip kit and the diff looks sideways. When you drive it it feels like the assend tries to come up any idea why it does it?
I have same truck also but 4wd.How would I measure the rearend priperly to check if it is aligned or not properly? I'm not sure why but I had my belltech kit Installed about 3yrs now and Have never had any vibrations until now I getting a vibrations at highway speeds?? Any chance you can explain process bud?
On the 2 /4 did you have to notch the bolts that does the alignment one video says you don't have to when you do 2 in a 2 inch drop but you do own a three but the instruction says you got to do it on the two I bought the same kit you got you don't mind let me know that
No you don't have to knock it on the 2-in I did not do mind belltech recommends you do it yet that's where that come from but no I did not do mine either
Yeah I still got the same problem I'm fixing to pull that rear end out for the four fifth time trying to get this shit straight but belltech is fixing to hear from me
@@boosteddave4603 hey I noticed you said you had to what 5.1 or 5.0 whatever it is I got the the 2.7 EcoBoost damn engine shouldn't have nothing to do with it should it
@@boosteddave4603 sweet. I have a 2014 supercab but its a 4wd. seems like every other dude is lifting them and I want that classic lower look. just dont want it to ruin it lol
@George Lombard I did the same just a 2/4 drop is perfect for all around situations. I tow, the race cars/trucks also my boat. And runs perfect. Suspension is perfect
I used the same kit on my 2017 super cab and the ride is terrible. The smallest bumps in the road shakes the interior and the doors . Love the way it looks but not the ride.
@@boosteddave4603 10-4 man.. can't wait to get the whipple on my truck later this summer🏁😎 Wasn't going to do anything until the whipple was installed.. but the stock stance just ain't cutting it.. ill do a 2/4 drop and 22's.. still have to work this bee h so it can help pay for itself.. no free rides round here!🤣🤣
@@boosteddave4603 did you had to cut c notch tho? I’ve heard that in sun cases with ford they cut the c notch and they stay rebuilt title something like that
