2016/2017 Jaguar XJL: Performance & Fuel Economy 

Got the 2019 XJL 5.0 V-8 Supercharged Collection (1 of 300) model. So far, I have been pretty happy. Lot of power under the hood and rockets effortlessly and quietly.

I just got a 2011 XJL Supercharged last week with 77985 miles for $15000...had to fix windshield wiper motor...glad it didn't come out of my pocket...but I would of love to have gotten the newer ones

I have one and he just had to check on the dash shows your MPG all the time and if you don't wast the gas saving feather can be shut off by a button on the dash. A great car inside and out.

That's fast for a V6. My 4.2L V8 XJ has a 6.5 0-60. Great review!

I think you are the first who showed us how windshield heating lines look in the dark. Can screen be bigger?

0.74 USD per Liter is currently 0.61 GBP per Liter (exchange rate as of May 2020) that is amazingly cheap. I think people in the USA have to stop complaining about how expensive fuel is in USA compared to UK. In the UK that means we pay 69% tax on our fuel.

I haven’t one of these - given that I am a 69 year old petrol head who likes a bit of luxury, I am not overly wealthy, but I will keep my Jag for some time - certainly at least as long as I am able to drive.. who knows- I might have it for the same number of years that my medium single malt whiskies have been matured in the barrel. Ha!

Jaguar fell off the horse for a while much like Cadillac and Lexus where their products during the late 80's - mid 2000's (yes i know Lexus began in 1990) were not very impressive both inside and out, but as of late Jaguar, Cadillac, and Lexus have really exploded with great products. the only thing i do not like about this car is the rear, does not look as good as the front/side profile.

It's real wood but it's as thin as contact paper.

I bet this is wayyyyyy overpriced and will have to go to the repair shops more than the Ford Panther platform cars (Ford Crownvic, Mercury Grand Marquis, and Lincoln Town Car with 4.6L SOHC 2V V8) will ever need.
