I just bought the Cruz Lt1 with RS package and convenience package! I love it, it's everything I wanted and priced just right! Drives quiet and smooth!

I have a 2016 LT Cruze, with the 6 speed manual, and I absolutely love this car, Chevy gave all kinds of discounts and perks when I bought it, the fuel economy was even better then they suggest on the highway, I was almost getting 50 mpg consistently, so far no complaints about this car, love it, great review

I have a 2014 Chevy cruze Lt and I don't know why when people see these cars on the road they are laughing and pointing. I feel people should respect everyone's decision. People drive the car they like. I love my Chevy.

I don't know how, but the engine is so well tuned and the small turbo doesn't come in, ever, until you really need it. Mine too sips gas. Interior materials are shoddy though lol

I also have a 2016 Cruze LT but mines in automatic I wish I could say I get that many MPG but I got a bit of a heavy foot cause I enjoy feeling the power it was so much better than when I was learning how to drive with my mothers 2012 Nissan Sentra

Cruze always has competed better against the others. The new interior 2 tone is great. I have a 2014 LT/RS with Z link rear suspension, it gets 37 mpg,now does 40, smooth, quick acceleration with the turbo, 6 sp, paddle/ or auto., quite refined . Compared with prior offerings it is in every small detail upgraded significantly.

Having test driven the Cruze, the 2016 Toyota Corolla, the 2016 Honda Civic, the 2016 Nissan Sentra and the 2017 Hyundai Elantra, I have to say that the Cruze competes with the class leaders in the competition pool, in terms of style, performance and features. I would say that for all the bells and Whistles GM put into the Cruze, if you have the cash go for the Premier. But if you are a little tight for dough, the LT offers just about everything you would need to be happy.
@DanielSparten

Have you test the reliability? Lol
@Trades46
@Trades46 7 лет назад
I think it is a nice car. The reliability is the question, but I think it is a more attractive package than the Corolla or Sentra. The Mazda 3 is a great drive but interior feels like crap, but the Civic turbo is the car to beat. Whichever you get, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Compact cars have come a long from from punishing econo-boxes into genuinely nice cars.

I have a Cruze and I absolutely love it. Maybe it’s cause it’s my first modern car but man! There’s so much to love. The ride is so smooth and quiet and relaxing! The acceleration is so good compared to my old car. I love the tech and for my car, the interior is amazing and looks better than the “upgrade” that I believe will one day look extremely aged. Overall, hands down love my Cruze. Will keep that car till I die if I can.

I honestly like the interior. Its out of the norm which is just my taste. Why I don't really do many American Cars because they tend to loose value too quickly, I really think with a little more cost prioritization the car would have been good. The rear suspension should be independent. A complex turbocharged engine is not needed. It actually does the car bad. The tail lights look somewhat outdated. It reminds me of the 06 VW Jetta. The front is up to date. I honestly can say GM has done okay here. I would advise to buy it used and not new but its a buy in my opinion.

I'm surprised that your channel has apparently not covered the 2017 or 2018 Cruze diesels yet. I have the 17 and, from what I've seen of the 14 model, mine is a massive improvement in every respect over that one, and perhaps better even than the gas models of the same years.

I have a 2014 Cruze 2 LT, Loaded with leather. Only missing as it is a step under the RS package, IS the fog lights and rear spoiler and sun roof. 78 thousand miles. It is a very nice car and I am happy with it for the most part. Not a fan of the Turbo lag and I really wish Chevy would have given the car more power than what it has. I like my style compared to the new ones. But all and all I am hapy with it.

Hey TFL, I was wondering if you guys could maybe elaborate more on the steering feel that keeps being brought up. I currently drive an older car with Hydraulic Power Assist steering, and I occasionally drive my gf's car which is newer with electric steering. The only real difference I can tell *granted im no professional driver* is that my car feels like I need to put more of a dedicated effort in making my car go the direction I want it to, but with the electric I just turn and it goes. I never really feel like I can tell more or less which car is going to go where I want it to, each feels pretty responsive and precise for the most part. Is the steering feel more of a sensation of literally feeling the "road"? Like the bumps or the friction of the tires? Or is it more just resistance when you turn the wheel? This may sound like a dumb question, but I've found myself usually pondering if what I'm feeling when I drive is what you guys are talking about. Thanks for taking the time to read this!

It's nice! I still liked the old Cruze funnily enough, but this is a nice replacement. I'm not crazy about the back (on the sedan, it looks better on the hatch).. something just seems off about it, but the (premium) interior looks great and the front fascia are well executed. This is the top of the line model though, so lower trims won't necessarily look quite as nice. That's why I like Mazda, whether you get a base model or top model, the cars all look really nice while most other companies, lower trims sometimes look a little dorky when you take away some of the design elements.

It looks good, but the only thing I'd worry about is the reliability. For about the same price after incentives, I would rather have a Chevy Volt. At least the gasoline engine on the Chevy Volt would be reasonably trouble free, since most of the miles would be on the electric motors, and electric motors have less to go wrong with them.

I've been subscribed for a long time and enjoy your content thoroughly. However, you need to edit videos to be cohesive and fluid. Why does this video jump between so many topics? Why do you have so many separate cuts for speaking with the engineer? These uncoordinated cuts make me lost throughout the video as a viewer, and I become uninterested. I'm frustrated with how many times the video begins describing a topic, cuts out, and returns to it later. Pick one thing at a time and transition to the next afterwards. I'm only writing this in hopes that you will find it as valuable input from your viewers. Please continue to create great content, but please assemble it and publish it coherently. Thank you.

Roman start to disappoint us whit his comments, about civics, but look at him the way he looks on the back seat . we all know this car will loose its value on the first years of its life and reliability. ... notorious.

They always talk about how "class leading" the Corolla is. I honestly never see them up here in Canada. The Civic dominates.

There is a reason why the Civic is 17 year in a row best compact car in CANADA only. So I guess that's why you see a lot of civic in Canada.

They're about even overall. Might be a regional thing though. Or maybe you just live closer to a Honda dealer than a Toyota dealer? I see 2-3 times as many new Corollas than new Civics, but I also live and work 10 minutes from a Toyota dealer and about an hour from a Honda dealer.

Corollas are on the low-tier imo. I think even the current Jetta tops it in terms of value and specs. The only thing I would pick a Corolla over would be the ancient Mitsubishi Lancer.LOOOL

The only reason for that is because people who rent or lease cars pick Corolla. Civics get rented to but only a few companies supply them like ZipCar or Hertz. If you're going to a rental lot to rent a car for a week, you'll almost certainly see a Corolla available and nothing else except maybe an Elantra or Focus.

A friend of mine just bought this car and it looks great, except the wheels are too small and make the car look neutered.
