2016 Ford Focus ST Review and Road Test - ST3 Recaro Package - As we wait for the Focus RS 

I just drove from Chicago to San Antonio, then back; and I can confirm that the leather Recaro seats in my ST were phenomenal. They were very comfortable and caused no fatigue. That was over 2500 miles if driving and bliss.

I owned this car for over 3 years. Seats were the best and most comfortable seats I've ever had to include BMW sport seats and MB seats

I just bought one of these 3 weeks ago. Mine is Kona Blue. Very beautiful color. Bought as my new daily driver so I could give my '08 F-150 to my son. I also have a 2015 RS1 Roush Mustang and as much as I hate to say it, my ST is a lot more fun to drive. Everything about the ST is fun.

I bought my Focus ST 4 years ago (2014) and I still love the car. I'm getting ready to upgrade some features to give it more horsepower so it's about to get crazy here in North Carolina. lol

I have one. ST3. It really is a dream car. In Deep impact blue. It's a secret dragon waiting to spit fire! Best car purchase to date. Do what you need to mate and get one asap!

Im 5'11" 200 lbs with 5 back surgeries; I find the seats very comfortable. My right leg never acts up in this car, my Honda Accord was brutal on my nerve pain. My Honda pilot is better but I need to sit upright to not have issues. The ST3 Focus seats are incredible if you fit, 75k miles strong no rips of worn spots. This car is the first and only sport car I never felt the need to upgrade....except I now have AT tire....much better as I do most my driving at night/early morning. Vast improvement from the hit or miss grip of summer tires. Fords really kicking ass

Great review. I had purchased a new Focus ST3(Ingot Silver) in 2014 and now have 75,000 miles of trouble free FUN!! I have taken 2 road trips from Rhode Island to Florida, avoiding the Northeast corridor by taking the scenic route through Pennsylvania and down Route 81 and up through Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway... amazing ride! At 1,500+ miles per one way trip, let me assure you, those Recaro bucket seats are amazing... keeping you comfortable and alert with their support!!

Hi , I have just purchased a 5 yr old ST3 (UK) with 10800 miles on the the clock from a main dealer and looking forward to sunny days only driving. Thanks for information in your video its a shame mine has no sunroof or rear seat arm rest or rear camera, euro version cost cuts i guess. But thank you , Paul aged 66.

I recently took out an Escape fwd with the 2.0L turbo and was surprised how much it reminded me of the Focus ST. Very fun to drive and makes me wish Ford would make an Escape ST using the Mustang 2.3L turbo and awd. ☺

I have the 2015 ST3 Recaro in black. Carbon copy of this except I did not get the sunroof, but I'm tall so I'd rather have the extra headroom.

Interior is nice, but this video makes me glad I bought the 2016 Fiesta ST, since I really don't see any WOW features that I would have gotten if i jumped to this model. It is however a Beautiful car with a much nicer interior if thats your thing. Great review.

my 2013 focus st has reverse sensor and reverse camera and satnav so cant see why you wouldn't be able to get it in the 2016 model

I had a 2014 ST for 6 months... wish it was the true Euro version... that ride is beyond rough. The 2016 is better, but still needs a lot of work.

How would you compare the seats to the RS? I have yet to seat in an ST, but I know the RS seats are far to bolstered for my upper back.

the St3 has the 5 cylinder volvo engine. It is not for sale outside Europe? It lacks the turbo so less to go wrong .

nothing changed between 2015 and 2016. the change was between 2014 and 2015. I have a 2015 and have the same options as this 2016. I have the led light strip, same fogs and headlights. please check your info.

Ford shouldn't have put a 4 banger into a mustang... inline 6 turbo in the mustang... might have been better... but nothing beats a ford v8 :D

Just wait a year or two to buy a used one and you can find one in the teens. The resale value sucks on these cars for some reason
