Yep, just go for it, good thing is the clip is sort of plastic-rubber, it doesn't break easily so just wiggle the screwdriver and it will eventually go off.
Yes. I wanted to keep the power on so I don't lose all the settings I have for the car. And without a separate power unit (which I believe the dealer would use), keeping the engine on is my only choice.
@3fiddy.joe_ I've heard of radio presets, memory seat. Since I didn't lose any settings, so I am also not 100% sure what other settings could get lost.
@@dannythewildcard1026 we, I work for advance auto parts where we do service batteries and in our case we use memory savers that are hooked in the OBD port so all memory keeps saved for the new battery
My car just won't start because the battery died. The electronics are still running even after the engine is shut off, like the alarm systems, fans for cooling, etc. The battery just won't last as long as the older cars that don't have as many electronics.
