I still think it’s HILARIOUS how the placements just worked out so this show came on after the happy catholic show from The Cadets 😂

I was sitting next to an instructor on the flight home on Sunday and they are shooting for the #1 spot in a few. Should be awesome. Go Boston !!!!

Yeah they got really good because a lot of Crowns staff came over to Crusaders. Not complaining though! I hope they at least top 3 next year!

Actually, most of our staff were Cadets staff before joining Boston. Almost all of the brass staff, aside from just one of the Mellophone techs, were with the Cadets in 2016. The Percussion and Music directors were also both from the Cadets. But most of the design team was from Carolina Crown and a huge chunk of guard members were also Crown alums

The only component missing is a show concept that has humanity. They've proven their story skill. They've proven their performance skills. If they pick a show that relates to the members' lives in some way, or relates universally to the audiences' lives in some way, even obliquely, they could easily win.

This definitely shows the difference the right staff can make. They helped those kids really show off their talents. My favorite Boston show for sure.

The most accessible, loveable, approachable, understandable, and altogether entertaining DCI show I've seen in person. Can be praised by a long term veteran, or enjoyed by someone viewing DCI for the first time ever. The entire show just makes sense! Will go down as one of my all time favorite dark horse shows.

This is literally the only DCI show in existence that gives me chills all the way throughout. I remembered seeing this live and it left me speechless with me clapping and having my mouth wide open in pure awe like an idiot for the next five minutes. So so good even in 2019.
