I have a 18 Sierra 6.2 wipple and kooks long tubes no cats and broke the out shaft twice I replaced it with a 300m billet. everyone needs to keep that in consideration
I’ve got a 2018 denalli that the lovely dod ate the stock cam since posting a year or so ago. Put in a tsp stage 1 cam and with the LT’s, cai, e45 and custom tune it makes 485rwhp. Not enough so I ordered the 3.0 whipple. Should start breaking trans and shafts after that install😮

My truck goes in next month for open heart surgery. I have a L86 I’m putting in a l83 stage 2 cam because I eventually want to go with the whipple. What your cam specs and are you running stock converter?

I watched your video while i was at work and missed the part where you said your cam specs. after reading some forums i ended up switching it out for the vvt-2 231/235 on stock converter. I could t justify doing that much work to it and regretting the cam not being aggressive enough.
Mine took 2 mos I ordered directly from whipple they are so hugely indemand! I ordered the 2.9 tuner kit for a 2018 chevy silverado 5.3 very pleased with it huge power on demand and it sounds like a jet engine.
Good hell. My current 18 denalli 6.2 with just a cai, free flowing muff and a semi worthless hand held tuner gets 26mpg it has cruise set to 68. But I'm guessing that cam killed your mpg. Crammed my ZL1 and lost about 5mpg. It rips and ain't my dd like my truck is. I'm considering an sc and I've never had mpg drop off on the 5 vehicles I've added sc's to but I'm still on the fence...
One of the things I liked about the 18 vs the 20 was a 2 tone brown interior and a 2 gallon bigger fuel tank. That has come in handy when towing the boat. My best of over 26mpg as noted was at 68 on flat roads. Once over 70 it drops clear down to 24😁
I'm curious how it's been holding up with these mods. I had one in a 2018 with 60k miles, completely stock with no issues. But I've heard all the horror stories.
