Not much louder but you can tell it's more on tone change than volume. Which is better anyways. There's loud for the sake of being loud and then there's good loud exhaust tone

They installed the mufflers backwards, valve tronic has uploaded a video specifying that the open/close valve needs to face the rear for optimal volume difference.

True dual means they are both equal length, key word “true” looks like the left side exhaust is longer when you get to the back, that’s why it sounds like a truck exhaust still and doesn’t have that Camaro/vette noise 😂

I just rewatched the vid and I see the left side exhaust coming off the header meets the right side like if it goes into a Y pipe 😂 they should’ve added a loop into the right side exhaust to even out the exhaust length. And they also installed the valve tronnic muffler backwards. They don’t even make the truck any quieter, that’s the whole point 😂

an x pipe requires 2 pipes. 2 = dual. so it is still a dual system😂just depends on the setup

Riced out means a car w/ no internal work and just bodywork to make it seem like it’s fast, but isn’t…. This truck has a Supercharger, exhaust work and a whole lot more to be taking off like that.

It is because it had a supercharger added and the computer wasn't tuned yet. Any major mod to the engine needs to be tuned or it will trigger the CEI. I had Comp Cams installed and it had a check engine code til it was tuned.

I have one on my truck. Valvetronic open is certainly quieter than a piece of straight pipe.

@@Dnasty1I did opposite. If open, it doesn't matter. Closed, they say it's quieter valves towards back. Definitely doesn't sound stock closed though either

Usually LT4 HPFP and Injectors. If you start getting extreme you'll need to go to a 535 low side pump.

I guess i wont be buying those mufflers then 😂. I looking for active exhaust mufflers that have a quiet mode for friday night starts. Its still over 100 with it closed 🤣. They dont do much besides change tone. Let down for 600 worth of mufflers
