In Episode 8, Brock removed the slipper to create a clutch configuration which allows Gixzilla to launch from a dead stop like a beast.
In Episode 9 (Part 1,) Brock discusses the procedure to prepare Gixzilla for stock wheelbase drag strip use and discusses the theory behind the preparation. As usual, Brock takes careful consideration of the audience and explains to novice racers not only WHAT is being done, but also WHY it’s being done. More seasoned racers should enjoy the theoretical discussion as well as possibly getting a glimpse at items they purchased (because their buddies said they should, or ‘because so-and-so has it, I should also,’ etc...)
