(April 9th 2017) I was involved in a fatal vehicle crash with a triumph bluebird motorcycle while in my Tucson 2016 and I honestly believe that this car saved our lives, now the head rests prevented the 3 of us from getting whiplash which I read somewhere one of the reasons I purchased the car. I'm already registered disabled and wanted to drive in a car that i thought would save my life and my passengers lives. We all had a bit of bruising due to seatbelts doing there job plus airbags doing there job also, but we managed to step out of the car even though I've been told by the authorities that it is a write off that's why my next car will be a Tucson 2017. I'd just like to thank everyone at Hyundai that helped to design the Tucson as my wife, son and myself truly believe this is why we are still alive today and can't thank you all enough x yours thankfully b.mcfadyen
I just leased one last month, long story short its a freaking vw GTI mock SUV- My tucson has blown me away in expectations. THis thing really is athletic and quick assss HECK !!!!! go get one im telling you.
nice review and look at the edition. I have the 2017 Ultimate Limited version... I honestly feel like if you're going to get this Night Edition, you might as well pay all the way for a Limited or Ultimate. in addition, you would gain leather seats, ALL safety features, power seats on both sides, sync temp and cooling seats. ohya and a nice 8 inch screen, def. makes a world of difference. I drove a loaner sante fe with a 5 inch screen and even just backing up looking at a smaller screen, You cant see as much IMO. (or I'm just used to the big screen =\)
IMO if you want most of those options for just a bit cheaper, go with the SE Plus...no laggy turbo engine, no jerky transmissions, just smooth effortless power. For about $2000 cheaper
most or all lol. no jerky transmission since the software recall on the transmission back in Janurary 2017. The car literally runs like a automatic now.
I noticed that in my Elantra Sport now too. It feels down on power after the 3200 miles I've put on it. It still feels like it misfires or jerks from time to time, even at the full operating temperature. Its due for a service soon, but thats one thing that's starting to annoy me already with my car.
I agree, the night edition wheels are nice, but no 8' screen on it. Come on now! SE Plus is where it's at unless you want the 19" wheels, non black edition.
I have a '17 value edition Tucson, and I have every feature except the Ray's rims are metal pedals. Mine is more loaded, again minus the rims and metal pedals.
Chris McManus In Mexico all the Tucson 2017 are sold with Apple CarPlay and android CarPlay even in the most economic version and also with a 8" touch screen radio. I do not understand why in USA are not equal, or better equipped. I love my 2017 Tucson.
Meh I'm not really that impressed to be honest. I like Hyundai products as I own a Sonata 2.0T. I like my Sonata and your Elantra much more then this edition of the Tucson. Sorry it just doesn't do anything for me.
Honestly, I'm not a fan of it either. It's only $1500 more than a normal Tucson Sport and for what...a sunroof and a set of wheels mainly? I'd rather spend that on something else.
