Hi Eric , I have a chevy volt and my rear brakes are rusty and not working at full capacity. This is a problem I wasn't aware of with ev up until your video. My front brakes are at 65% and going on 110k . I believe this fue to to regenerative breaking .
I just had the brakes replaced. Almost seemed like the rosters were worn more than the pads. I found out in reverse there is no regen so that would be a way to clean the disk every now and then.
I bought my 2019 Ioniq this time last year. Fabulous car, haven’t got any problem exept for a faulty charging port part. Was fixed under warranty. For the rest great economic (cheap) driving here in Netherlands. Thanks for the update, stay safe.
I was never able to get one of these. the dealers in the area (Utah) will not stock or sell them. I'd have to look to buy one from another state and ship it back here.
I think in the states, if you are not in California, it is very difficult to buy an EV. It's to bad. To be honest, the only automaker that really wants to sell EV's is Tesla. The rest I don't think they are really committed to EV's.
