I just bought one second hand, the same motor as yours. In normal mode the car takes off in second gear. In dynamic it will take off in first with zero lag. It is such a beautiful ride.
I have this car and I love it. The interior is leatherette but frankly it feels no different than real leather and holds up just as well additionally it won’t wrinkle up the same way either. One complaint is the rear that has very little room for adults but other than that it runs and feels great. Good review
Excellent review Tom. Straight to the point and no bs. 4:18 seriously, who the hell thought it would be a great idea to paint it red instead of leaving it just plain black..
fearfactz1 ...To let other driver's know that your driving with a space saver wheel on and that you can't go too fast and to prevent being honked at every five minutes.
Do a best used segment for those of looking to move into a 2-3 year old car. A brand new car always works great, factor in reliability and deprecation and you've got a whole segment I'd be very interested in.
More options in the UK. I just bought a 2017 one with AWD and 250bhp and only 10k miles on the clock. Black pack which includes 19" alloys, black front grill, black mirror covers and black side vents. Nice looking car with a space saver wheel too. Far better than a can of foam spray gunge if you do get a puncture!
Feel way to small after you been driving a Tahoe. Handling is okay but my 2016 Tahoe seem to be able to take it in a drag race and it rides more smoothly too! I don't know about the 0-60 at 6.8 however. Handling is better since it is smaller and a sport sedan but I would not give up my Tahoe for this XE! Price is only $10K more for my LTZ and well worth it too! Thanks for the review!
@@DrivenCarReviews Good to know, cheers Tom. It's only that I was looking for this particular model and the earlier ones are more likely to be in my price range.
I tell you Tom, this car is even blander ham the old contour based X-type. I want to like it, I do, but maybe it's the green paint with black wheels. Maybe a set of silver painted alloys might liven up its looks. I bet it's have a 80% lease take rate. It blends in way to much. Get a Maxima SR and save at least $10K or more.
Hi all. My new website is being built. Be the first to check it out, especially if you want a Driven T-shirt or sweatshirt. tomvoelk.com Like the reviews, the clothing is only quality stuff. Cheers! TV
Driven Car Reviews If the test car is in BRG, with black accents and rims, I think it could drive like a Prius and I would still like it. Joking apart great to see a 25t review instead of the usual V6 supercharged reviews.
tmh44 Definitely worth trying both and I would say the ATS as well. The XE lease at $279 a month though is pretty competitive, especially if can knock them down a bit.
The only thing really exterior wise that the accord has that is eye catching are the stock rims. Everything else is pretty typical for an economy suited car.
My sister was looking at Jags. I said why a Jag? They scream rich old lady and you're not old. So I went with her to look at them. I took a turn behind the wheel just for the hell of it. I was already there, why not? All I can say is WOW! About 30 seconds in I was like OMG I want a Jag...LOL. They are amazingly seductive. She ended up buying a Lexus. I was disappointed.
Your videos are nice but too line by line... surely the fact that it's a Jaguar plays a role in its "worthyness" its as if a KIA had all that in that Jag, you'd say they're the same....
If I'm understanding you correctly, you seem to be saying I would use the same words to describe a Jag and Kia out of laziness. I might use similar lines but it would be because the car deserves it (and really, after 800 reviews, it's hard to come up with a unique way of describing things). BTW, I'm reviewing the car, not the marketing, positioning or branding. From what I understand the new Kia Stinger holds up very well to this car. The Korean might even be better. I'll find out when I drive it.
Wrong. I’ve had one for a year now and no issues. Additionally they have a 5 year 60k mile warranty with all the maintenance covered for those 5 years. They did have issues in the past but it’s come a long way since
As an Aussie, I always get a chuckle when I hear terms like "Boot" and "Bonnet". Whenever I go home I have to catch myself because now, I automatically use "Hood, trunk, gas" etc
