You say this is a sports tourer... why is there never a review of it being ridden two up and full luggage... other than that ,the bike looks great in the flesh
like the review but you didnt look to comfident on the bike in the wet road clips, looked at some other reviews and it seams to be a common thread about the front being a bit vauge due to the tyre choice. whats your take on that as I will be looking to buy this or the triumph tiger sport, cheers always appreciate your reviews all the best
guys you should start the magazine in India and review the local manuf bikes here ! i had written to micheal neeves 2 years ago about the same you have a lot of fan following here !
I would love this bike, but no top box as standard??. odd because the versys has it. It's a shame because this ticks so many boxes. ps. good review. nice to hear it from some one who owned one. 🖒
their is no cruise control because this bike is not for slow and new riders its for people who can hold the throttle for long time going the same speed
Big T it vibes a litle bit but its not to intrucive. Comming from a v-twin. It is a bit of gettung used to. But the engine is so smooth anf powerfull you hardly need to go over 5k unless you are in a hurry. See it as a tingle of excitement that the bike is givving you
Guys I have a serious yet silly question, why do we need the ninja 1000 when we have the zx10r,what are the difference between them, and are the ninja 1000 more of a sport touring bike since it has more upright riding position
Slap a giant loop bag on the rear seat of a Z900, fix a temp windshield on the front, and go touring for a lot less money. Sometimes the sensible side of me says that would be better, but then the emotional size of me says the 1000 would be better.
The ZX-10R is a lightweight 200hp sports bike. The Z1000SX (or Ninja 1000) is a heavier, 142hp sports tourer with an upright riding position. Major differences. I've ordered one of the latter - there's no way I could live with a ZX-10R due to the aggressive riding position.
I have owned a 2017 model for 3 years now pillion seat is still shite as the mrs moans about her arse being sore..stuck a set of scorpion serket slip ons and what a difference to the power...not the fastest bike in the world granted... but a nice comfortable all rounder with decent amount of power
