A follow up video for those of you who are looking for a fog light replacement option that is a little more suitable for a truck with such good headlight optics.
These foglights are a good choice for people who want a more refined, deliberate output in a complete aftermarket housing that won't break the bank like a pair of Rigid DOT legal D-series driving lights would. There's no cutting or trimming of any factory components and the only thing reused is the factory adjustment screw, and the foglight bezel.
Guys, I'd like to thank you for all the feedback. If there's anything you guys want to see specifically, please comment and I'll do my very best to accommodate you. I'm still learning and I know my editing is pretty awful, but I'm just trying to make the most informative, real world videos in areas that I feel that I'm somewhat informed and comfortable with.

Jeff Thompson I'll do you one better. Here's the link for the ones in my cargo light. You'll need 3. They can be classified as t10, 194, 912, 921and a million other model numbers because they have so many applications. They're very simple chips and if they don't work initially after installing, simply reverse the orientation of the bulb and put it back in the socket. www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01DSO6J7C/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The chips above are far too bright and probably too big for the license plate Lights so here's something similar to what you'd want for those. Again, same "size" as the cargos in terms of the connection, just smaller package and less output. Gerald Paredes I'm sorry Gerald, I don't quite understand what you mean by type 1 or type 2? Both the $30 bulbs, and the $200 Morimoto XBs can be purchased through amazon depending on stock. Jeff Thompson I'm glad I could help brother. I started making these videos because of the countless hours of research I've done, and because I'm a big believer of good optics on my vehicle and there were so many times over the years where I just wished there was a comprehensive video that could have saved me so much time and money....and sometimes I would luck out and find videos and I just was so grateful for them so now that I'm in a place where I feel I'm informed enough to put out content, I feel kind of obligated to return the favor to all the people, who like me, were just looking for answers. the rest of the lights (ones near grill) are all the stock denali ones correct?

Eliteage Headlights are completely factory. They are a bixenon HID projector with LED DRLs and turn signals. Compared to years past they're definitely an upgrade but compared to the other aftermarket possible projector/bulbs set ups that are compatible for a retrofit, they just can't compete.

Eliteage honestly you'd probably be better off waiting for the 2018s to come out....maybe they will have some of the bugs worked out that some 2017 owners are having. Personally, the truck has been great, but there are little things that need attention

I just bought a 2018 L5P Denali and my headlight don’t seem this white compared to yours. I traded in from a 1500 Denali and the 2500 lights suck compared to the 1500.

That's why I switched the stock headlights out for a set from a 1500 denali. Look up a Gen5DIY if you want the harness to switch those lights, or just get a set of FXR projectors and morimoto HIDs. That will produce the best light output by far.

Also when you switched headlights did the bouncing and jiggle stop? My bounce like a bat out of hell. Lights on a 92k truck should not do that!!!

It's worth the $200, the factory housings leak and short out LED bulbs, these are sealed.

It’s pretty weak if you ask me that a 70-80k top tier flagship pickup still comes with those crappy 5202 halogen fog lights to begin with. The Morimotos are a massive upgrade and I’ve never had a single issue with them ever.

@@DanEvan couldn't agree more! Total out-the-door price for my '18 was $77K, complete with the shitty yellowish fogs! I loved the LED's I put in, but they kept on shorting out thanks to shitty housings that didn't seal correctly. Love my truck but like you said, for the year and the price, they took the cheap way out to increase their profits.
