@@rpaul4197 Ok yes I agree that movie wasn't great at all. However, it had good directing. And I respect him for being resilient with his stories following The Last Airbender and showing the world that his stories could work. After failure after failure, he finally struck gold with The Visit, Split, and Glass
I'm really glad i found this speech at this moment of time in my life. Not just motivating but powerful enough to plant a seed of revival and resilience in me to do better after going through a failure. The universe is fundamentally good and is always on your side, and for as long as you surrender the things that are out of your control and work on the things you can, you will see great things happen in your life. Thank you M. Night Shyamalan. I'm sure Glass will do well.
Inspiring. Epictetus was a Stoic who wrote The Handbook, which Shyamalan attributes to his success. Epictetus' philosophy is based on a Universe that is fundamentally benevolent and good. Shyamalan emphasizes to control what you have power over, especially your thoughts. Create your art with all your energy, effort, and focus. Don't worry about how what you create will be received by others. Your positive efforts will be rewarded. The rise, fall, and rise again of Shyamalan is a great story of perseverance, self-motivation, and commitment to creating your own art.
A profound speech....has unravelled the mysteries of the Universe......strange coincidences happen all the time in our lives which are often not acknowledged .If your intent and purpose are clearly defined, the universe will be benevolent and help you achieve that. Well done Manoj .Stay rooted always
I thought his carrier was over, then he came with the movie " the visit" its a low budget movie watching the trailer it blown me away.and made millions worldwide. And then he made split which also a low budget movie and made millions worldwide. It really surprised me.thats what a true filmmaker looks like.he just grabs the attention with his trailer and brings the audience to his films. That's really inspiring.
Build your life, family and your philosophy based on values and not by blood inheritance and heridatorial archetypes alone. Power to yourself those of us awake!
@@rpaul4197 At least, he finally stuck to making low-budget movies, which is more HIS speed. But then again, 4 bad movies is better than 14 bad movies. cough Uwe Boll cough
