We have been going thorough the same trial and error ($$) with my 19 Accord Sport. So far we have been extremely happy with the Rockford Fosgate Punch (6 3/4) for the rear deck and front door speakers. Also have a 10" Rockford Fosgate subwoofer in a sealed box. Installed the LC2i under the front passenger seat and had to disconnect the ANC. I did not have the premium sound system so on the rear deck we cut ( with a nibbler) a hole for an 8" Skar speak (think it's a mid range). Ordered all the 6 3/4 speakers from Crutchfield and they sent the adapters and wire harnesses so we didn't have to cut any factory wires.
Hey man how’s the car been? Did you ever do stage 3 tune with the speaker amps? I upgraded my speakers. Went all out and got infinity kappas with a Kappa sub and Kappa five amp. Got the LOC too. Something is flopped in the setup though and doesn’t sound as great as it should(especially for the cost as that’s the system they put in bmw’s). Been contemplating how to troubleshoot since every professional I’ve gone too had something different to recommend for fixing(to charge me for). As you said. You live and you learn !
If I’d’ve known you were in the market for a better car audio system, I would’ve suggested that you invest in Klipsch speakers. In order to get a better bass response, set your subwoofers crossover to 80Hz
What color did you grab for the positive and negative from the rear speaker? Im asking because i have a 2018 accord and im planning on installing my system next week..... thanks in advance!!
Hey conrad, do u have wind noise issues such as the one in the link I'm going to post? Sounds like a high pitch whistle, chirping noise...thanks. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-q9v6OzLa4UY.html
