This is a comparison between the 2017 Honda Accord and the all new generation 2018 Accord turbo. What are your thoughts about the differences and what do you like vs dislike about the new model?
The 2017 sedan looks much better. A sedan is supposed have a taller roofline for better in-cabin space. The fastback look of the 2018 is mainly for aerodynamics and fuel economy. The body lines don’t make much sense in my opinion. The trunk space is larger because you no longer have to worry about accommodating a large v6 engine. Both engine choices are now inline 4s. If the 2018 didn’t have more features and tech than the 2017, it’d be a failure considering every new generation is supposed to beat the previous with technology features. I don’t like the 2018 design at all. However, I can say that it rides well, is “quicker” than the previous generation, and has more features on the lower trims.
I just bought 2018 accord because the dealer did not have 2017 anymore but I think 2017 looks better than 2018, the 2018 accord looks like a big civic...and I do not like the back
Traded my 2016 EX-L V6 for a 2019 Touring 2.0T I love it. Its a better overall car than the out going model. The controversial styling of the 10th gen has grown on me.
I love my 2017 accord EX-L 4cyl it's what a lots of people like compare to the 18 accord and camry the rear leg and headroom is great for tall adults as well
I wish I could buy 2017 exteriors with 2018 interiors. I just can't stand looking at that ugly grill and chrome bar on the 2018 and the rear looks asymmetrical. The 2017 exteriors look more luxurious.
you guys needs to get your eyes check 2018 Honda accord it's look good specially in person...just bought one over 2017 did not worry about 0.9 % and pay full price
I feel like the 17 looks better now. However the 18 is growing on me day by day. I feel like the 17 in a couple years is going to look drastically old and outdated compared to the 2018
2017 is a beutiful car, but I like the 2018 better, I was about to get one early this year however I wanted leather and more features but exl is over $30,000 so decided to get a pre-owned Acura tlx under $25,000
Your not exactly explaining about each Motor...On 2017 as we know it has DOHC and 2018 has SOHC Turbo? So meaning your 2018 engine more stressful and work than the 2017...If you go both accord uphill 2017 is much better and your engine will not stress like the 2018...
2018 all day before this model I would taken a Honda as a beater until the the 18 came out. Just like another reviewer said soccer mom until this 2018 came out sorry peaple get in one our own one then let the car will speak for itself.

@PLATINUM The Toyota Camry has more horsepower but that doesn't mean its quicker. The Toyota Camry is a very good car, but its not faster then the accord. Go look up car and driver 0-60 times and the accord is an easy .2 seconds faster. I love how using your phone and driving is illegal, yet they keep adding all this unnecessary stuff to cars. That center screen is an eye sore. Its like they took a tablet and glued it onto the center console. Other than the safety stuff. They add way to much to cars now. Also the 2018 Accords look nearly identical to the civics. Both cars have become ugly. 2016 or 2015 was the last good looking year for Accords. And 2014 for civics, 2015 sedans but not coupes.
Honestly, I think the best redesign for Honda lately was the 2017 CR-V. The current Civic is ugly, the 2018 Accord & 2018 Odyssey are both ugly as well...
awful black plastic grille on the 18... Please don't follow Toyota on that. Don't like those plastic horizontal slats in the front. I see them alot now even on higher end cars, stop, make the front look real.
