Mike Tuft Simply not true! In the NFL, (where they use a similar ball) all the kicking records e.g. punts & field goals were set at altitude. Some say you can gain an 8-10% increase in distance. Certainly watching teams play, the altitude appears to make a difference when it comes to kicking.
As a Kiwi I find this to be extremely positive. I want South Africa to be strong and really compete with the ABs. But I have to say that defense.... if they were playing the ABs we'd run circles around them .

As an England fan, this is hard to watch, as much as SA deserved to win the series, I'm pretty sure any other tier 1 side would have finished the series 3-0 against SA if they had had the starts that England got... made for some great games though
Not true, I thought the same until SA played New Zealand after England. New Zealand started off with tries just like England. SA came back and won the game... in Wellington New Zealand home.

This is an experienced English team that got beaten by a relatively inexperienced bok team! If England win next week then its the boks that will loose the game because we have seen this team has the potential to beat the English!
Rosa K did you watch the same game as everyone else it doesn't matter if your English a saffe a kewi or a Scot England had 25 mins in the first half and then fell apart. The bokks played above themselves thats not being funny you guys played well but look at the penalty count and tell me England had a good game.
+Luke Armitage like you said..yes they did have a good 20 mins but what u failing to see is the Boks turned it around with a great comeback and that pressure is what lead to the penalties. England didn't "loose" that Game the boks won it.

Te Tapua Roberts not lucky, to come back from that deficit takes a huge mental spark. Boks deserved to win it in the end. They were all over the pommies in the second half
