One of my favourite cars this year. I take the loud and angry Mercedes-AMG E63 S out on Monticello circuit in New York for a quick track test. Don't be fooled by the luxurious interior and civilized demeanour. This is a proper track monster.

Looks like mercedes is making some insanely well balanced cars. No more big engines no handling or any steer feel they really found a good mix between street comfort and capable on track

Great video, love the car. I’m shopping for one, was thinking wagon, but sedans are more reasonable priced. Looks like similar performance between sedan and wagon. I have subscribed to your channel for years and love it, arguably one of the best on RU-vid. So kudos to you for growing it into what it is now. And congratulations on your success. Curious, how did you meet James and how did you decide to team up with him on TH?

very cool -- looks like a breast. It's amazing this trend of production supercars, it's like the muscle cars of the 60s and 70s all over again. I think we're going through an incredible era of automobiles. And the other side of that is they would not be building these expensive high-performance powerhouses if no one was buying them.

Agree on the carbon fiber thing (5:36). It's a HEAVY car, putting on carbon fiber is almost like irony.

Imagine we weren't on this energy and eco train. Maybe we wouldn't have a 4.0 Liter V8 but still a 6.2 Liter V8 and they bolted the twin turbo onto that one... Also orange really doesnt fit a Mercedes.

yes, but it's not that clear anymore, all those new cars, are being developed as if in a laboratory, with a very similar figures, so performance ... becomes quite a stretchy definition ... the question is, would you get the bmw instead of the merc.... :D ... btw , another great video man....really enjoy it :)
