Thank you for posting this review! I believe (it's just me) this Triumph Speedmaster is a pure British old-school classic, the most beautifully designed and best cruiser out there :)
Beutiful and reliable bike i just got one and i love it every morning i can't wait to go into my garage to admire it (i have kiss it my wife don't know that )
Agreed. Got mine yesterday. Smooth, comfy, easy to ride, light feeling yet super powerful and fast. I pushed it into my garage tonight just using the handlebars.
Hey dad, could you please ask yu mate if you can get ape hangers for the speedy and also can you get heated grips and bark buster type grip thingies so the hands don't freeeze at night. Thanks.
It is relatively lighter but weighs as much my zx14r. Less weight than my Vulcan Nomad or the 1600 Yamaha i sold due to its weight. Good size motor better than the anemic little 865 which i test rode but found it reminded me of the cb350. The big cruisers are effortless underway...the point is they are a pain in a shed
Nice looking bike but does it really need power modes, traction control .Abs is all it needs. Dont like the ignition being on the side of bike either. Probably be couple thousand cheaper without all those electronics. Does look very nice for a cruiser though.
Just do what I did. Go out and buy a 2004 for around $2500 USD and for the price you pay for this new bike, you could have your 2004 upgraded to be more awesome and it'd be all you. just think how much it would cost if you bought this at it's price, then you modify it the way you like. Buy old and make better.
@@WallaceMorrison I had the original Speedmaster (2008) - seriously under-powered, with its 865cc engine, which is why I got rid of it after a year or two. This one is worth the price, believe me.
At my area the price of both is pretty much the same. From a technical standpoint the speedmaster is by far the better bike. From my personal point of view the speedmaster is also the much more appealing bike.
Not a review but sales pitch. After all, the Yugo probably had a good review from the dealer. But almost assuredly the Bonnie is a much better scooter than a Yugo was a car.
Steven Febvre speedmaster is good if u have a wife or girlfriend 😍 otherwise I would like just bobber . ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GnQLPRkC0us.html watch this video u will understand
Midnight Rider I'm only yanking ya chain! 😮 On occasion the wife gets dragged along for a ride (she actually enjoys it)... so it's either a T120 or Speedmaster! The SM is way cooler in many respects 👍🏻
So does a new Harley. Your point? That's the way things are regulated today and that's why there are these things called aftermarket products so you can make it the way you like.
Have you heard the new Kawasaki Z900 RS? Its standard pipe sounds lovely. And yes you're right, thats why we fit aftermarket stuff, but it still doesn't detract from the fact that it sounds like a sewing machine. :)
