A few years ago, I wanted a Rocket, test rode one, loved it, but it was quickly sold. Got a 2009 Thunderbird, what an amazing bike. Had i in for a service and was given a SpeedMaster, great bike, and if I hadn't had a Thunderbird would have been very impressed. Nice bikes, and as always Triumph Quality.

This bike is my first cruiser since owning a Hayabusa. I'm 6"1, and I enjoy the torque and comfort

Triumph are knocking it out of the park with great designs, excellent handling dynamics, superb build quality with high quality components. They are reliable bikes nowadays Harley Davidson needs to look at what Triumph has done as HD bikes just can't compete with the quality and reliability of Triumph at sensible prices. The latest generation of triumphs are in a different league from before.

Because of your review I was totally convince that this would be my first bike upgrading from a Vespa 300. Totally satisfied

I have a 2015 Speedmaster and can say the forward controls for me are awesome. Not cramped, natural riding position It is awesome. Hoping to get this new one in the next couple of days! .

I ride a Bonneville T120 which I will one day trade for the speed master for the cruiser style riding, they share the same motor and they have heaps of power and very smooth can’t beat a Triumph.

MC, Nice interview! You are very knowledgable and pleasant to listen to. You need to review the Indian Scout as well. I'm curious what your opinions are regarding the Triumph Speedmaster and the Indian Scout. I'm 6' as well so to me, any bike you review will certainly apply to me. Any news on the horizon about adding a belt or shaft drive? That might be a monumental improvement. FYI, Even Jay Leno has one in his garage and he likes it too! Good job! Keep the reviews coming!

I'm not a huge fan of forward controls, in fact, it's one of the reasons why I gave this one a pass. But apparently you can have mid controls from the T120 installed which might be just about right.

'Pylon' seat? What's one of them, then?

I just want to start by saying I really find your reviews and channel to be excellent and I enjoy every one! This bike I like a lot, love the mussel lines to it, however the the chain drive is a deal breaker for me. All my bikes have been shaft or belt for the last 25 years, chain maintenance is a PIA and I refuse to do it. I don’t know why Triumph didn’t use a belt. Also the price of the bike is quite steep. I looked at one in a dealer with the brown seat, pipes and a wind shield and it was over 17 grand! So I bought an Indian scout, and ever looked back. Thanks for your great channel.

Great video. I have a 2009 Kawasaki 900 Custom that I really like, but I’ve been thinking about a speedmaster for a while. My only concern is my height at 6-2 and fitting the bike. Love forward controls. Thanks again fr the video.

How is the ride quality and the output performance? The looks and the overall stature doesn't seem to be as appalling as the previous Speed masters in the past years. The handle bar looks ordinary and tasteless for one thing, and if they did not have a tachometer before then maybe they should have it now! Good thing that they retained that double exhaust placement on both side!

The brakes have only done 20 mls. they need bedding in you muppet. You said to be carefull of the tires, so the same should go for the brakes yeah, for a couple a hundred miles.
