Thank you for the video. I will add that you don’t use a red bulb to replace the brake light. You use a clear one which is what was in there. You always use a clear/white bulb when there’s a colored lens cover.

Didnt work on my 2021 went to autozone and bought 921 led bulbs works perfectly fine

There is a sensor in that area that led lights interfer with the keyfob. The middle light is the only one that should stay halogen. The 2 bed lights can be made led with no issues but if you replace the middle one the truck will have issues detecting the keyfob because of said interference from the led light. I thought it was my fob battery turns out it's just a ram design flaw.

Did you figure out the issues for the 2021 models? I want to buy from LasFit but I don't want to compromise my key fob not working.

I did this and they look great, but the truck wouldn’t start afterwards or would start intermittently. Apparently there was a service bulletin according to the dealer because once the incandescent lights were put back in the truck had no problems starting.

a note on your website says 3rd brake light / cargo light LEDs don't work for 2021, is that due to key fob interferance? want to be sure before i order (assuming the interior LEDs should be OK for 2021 rebel) TIA!

Have you had issues with the Ram 1500 showing that the light is out warning or do they have enough resistance to not turn the warning on for the t15 bulbs?

Is the white LED brighter then Red LED? What does the 3ed brake light look like with a white LED in the brake light. Just wondering because it was a regular bulb in there before not red. So would the white LED be brighter or would it wash out the red housing?

I just installed these lights on my 2021 RAM Rebel and I’m having the same issue with the FOB Key. Sometimes it detects to lock the truck and other times it doesn’t. Lights are extremely bright and well lit. But bummed out that they’re not working out. I only swapped out the halogens for the cargo lights not the 3rd brake light. And still having issues. I hope I can figure out a way to resolve this if not I’d have to go back to the original halogens. 🙄

Have your bulbs caused any errors, malfunctions, stopped cruise control from working etc specifically with the third brake light LED replacement?

These led lights interfere with you Ram’s FOB frequency. My Ram would not detect my FOB when these lights were installed unless I would hold it close to the start button. I could not start or lock my Ram unless the FOB was out of my pocket and held in my hand. Just finished replacing these leds with the stock lights and no more problems.

Would this work on a 2023 ram 1500 with push to button start

I really like lasfit. I change all my 2021 bighorn from stock to lasfit LED, but exactly this one got busted and didn't last the year. I sent an email to lasfir warranty department but they didn't answer back.

Does the brake light have to be a red bulb even tho its tinted red in the center?

if you install these leds on your all new ram and your key fob isnt letting you start the truck and is giving you trouble, it is these leds, they interfere with your key fob, just removed mine and put stock bulbs back in and key fob is working fine again 👍🏻

Mine just burnt out after 1 year and 5 months. Very bright but was hoping for a longer life span. Red LED red lenses...

Why are my cargo lights not coming on when I put my truck? But, if I push the cargo lights inside the cab they do, just not when I put the truck in reverse.

Question.. Does any one have any issues with the Cargo lights staying on? Normally there is a timer and the cargo light will shut off after 15 seconds or so. My lights are staying on and I have to manually push the cargo light button to shut them off.

Will these work on the 2021 Ram. Just got a 1500 Rebel and I can’t for the life of me figure out why they would make every light LED except the cargo lights.

Question: Why use a RED LED in a red lens? Why not a clear/white LED? Just curious.

READ BEFORE INSTALLING THESE...... Just to let people know, I installed these bulbs in my brand new 2019 Longhorn a few days after I bought it and they instantly interfered with my key fob when trying to start the truck.. My truck started giving me "key fob not detected" errors when trying to start the truck directly after installing the bulbs. At first I thought my truck was fkn up like something was wrong but luckily before I had a chance to take it back to the dealership for them to start trouble shooting it I Googled the key fob not detected problem and low and behold came across a couple post on the 5th Gen forum of others talking about the same exact problem I was having after installing LEDs in the 3rd brake light. It has something to do with the radio interference of the brake light bulb since you have to press the brake to start the truck with the button start. I've since kept the cargo LEDs but swapped back to the halogen for the 3rd brake light and that seemed to fix my issues. Not a huge deal as I really only cared to swap out the cargo lights and they are a million times brighter than the ugly yellow stock bulbs. Another work around would be use AlphaOBD (which I don't have) to change your trucks system to LEDs for the cargo/brake light. I've always loved lasfit bulbs and have used them for years on all of my trucks and the ol lady's vehicles, they are truly some of the best quality cheaper led bulb you will find.. But just know on these particular trucks these bulbs do cause a small problem, it's not a problem specific to Lasfit but it's just an overall problem with leds in this setup. Some truck computers are more picky than others so you may or may not experience this after switching, but just know that the led bulbs in your 3rd brake light are the cause if you buy these bulb and you start having the key fob not detected error on your dash when you clearly have the key fob with you. Other than that these are great super bright bulbs for the cargo lights that look WAAAAY better than stock!
