He spent first half of the race behind a long traffic, since Magnussen was defending hard against Perez, there's almost under 1 second gap between every car from Perez to Albon. After Magnussen was overtaken and cars started to pit, he overtook them one by one finished the race 5th (thanks to Norris). Nobody could get a better result than this with these conditions, like no safety car at all etc.
ABC DEF actully for me he is because, he starts from the 17 Position and gained the 5th, thanks to Norris but, he overtaked Perez who was 10 Seconds ahead of him. He did really really well for his first time Red bull Race!

@@Razzzordback yeah back in the day when the engines were easy to produce even cosworth was doing them in that era they weren't that bad, but even back then it was probably the worst engine out there and it almost cost Red Bull a title in 2010 and 2012
@@Blueflag04 Yeah, it's one of those situations where he'd benefit from being a bit slower - getting lapped would save his race. Letting LEC through and then crossing the line doesn't seem feasible in this case as the car seemingly had no power, it was just rolling.
I was there. For both the F3 and the F1 there was a minute of silence. You saw his mum and brother on the track and pretty much all of the people had the respect to stand up, take off hats and shut up. Very impressive and an experience I will never forget.
