Not even close for the 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Duramax. There are 4 screws to remove on the lower glove box to remove it. The air filter compartment is also different, but fairly simply access to remove the cover and replace the filter. Note, the filter is not square, so it goes in a certain way. Refer to your owners manual, there is a section in there specifically on how to change the cabin air filter.
@@TonyTheTruckGuy i know it was my fault, for yabking downward. In anycase, the piece inside the dash unclips the same way so i was able to get it out, reconnect it and put it back. It comes apart in the middle with some tiny clips (i guess to prevent breaking for idiots like me haha) all is good now
You probably have an LTZ or something fancy that adds more steps. This is just a work truck with base interior. Some other guy with a 2500 LTZ said there were 4 screws holding his filter in.
@@TonyTheTruckGuy J G is correct, they updated the models for the 1500s in 2019 but the HDs didn't update until 2020 model year. This is for 2020 and newer.
@@brucehanson4147 It’s confusing because the HD’s DID debut in February of 2019, but didn’t hit dealerships until late summer. So this body style is basically all 2019.5 and newer.
