In December 2019, the Confucius Institute U.S. Center hosted the 2nd Annual People-to-People Alumni China Trip. During the 10-day trip, students visited Changsha and Beijing where they visted with host families, attended classes at a local school, learned about many historical and cultural sites. As students of their local Confucius Institutes, they have engaged with Chinese language and culture in their own unique way and this trip provides an opportunity to experience the language and culture through unique people-to-people exchange experiences.
