Please make sure you show how you handled the grounding of the amplifiers in this aluminum body build. This gets missed by many installers out there.

Looks like a wire bundle got stuck in between the baffle on the pass rear door. Can see the two divots in the foam on the speaker.

So, I’m no installer and I know nothing of audio to speak of… I only know what it needs to sound like for me. What I can do really well is install door speakers. On my Ex I used the original speaker casing and altered it to house the new 6x9 and 6.5 front and rear door speakers. That way it wasn’t necessary to cut the factory harnesses. Just the cage on the back of the factory housing needed to be cut out. I soldered the aftermarket wires to the factory housing tabs, plug them onto the speakers, easy as pie! Screwed the new speakers into the existing housing and placed them back into the doors.

What do you do when it's time to trade this car in. Do you have everything ripped out and put back the stock system cause you will never get your value back.

So everything is pretty much reversible, since we build factory fitting adapters. So technically, the customer could bring the vehicle back to us, we could then take it back to stock. Sell the car, install gear into the new vehicle.

Once we complete the door, we have not noticed any water.. But from factory, the doors are soaked! But believe it or not, that's normal for most vehicles

These so called "premium" systems using cheap speakers. Just some cheap amplification and eq then call it a day then charge $1000+ for it smh. They do that because the average joe how doesn't know much bout car audio. Even though some of the brands of premium systems such as Alpine, Bang & Olfsen, and Infinity actually make real good quality products, it's just business.

Only the rear door locations are passive and for another $3000 we could have made them active (Another DSP, Another Amplifier, More labor/tuning, etc). In this particular vehicle, we did not believe the cost vs performance gain was worth it. The truck sounded amazing and active/passive rear doors would make a 1% difference in performance. Every system we do is about the allocation of funds where they matter most and not to waste. We had XYZ budget and this is the system within that budget. Customer was beyond satisfied and still loves the system today, so that’s what matters.
