Ford has a better interior and better view of the road. But the GMC sounds and feels really good. He is right! It is hard to choose and you see f-150 everywhere!!!! So I am leaning towards GMC right now and waiting for 2020!!!
What's the point of Chevy's new 6.6 V-8 with 401 H.P. and 468 TQ? A lower trim level 6.2 can easily make for a work truck. Now Ford sends out the Godzilla 7.3 with 430 H.P. and 475 TQ. I am certain that people are going to toy with that monster and create something very Soul Crushing. The EcoBoss and 5.0 Coyote are my pick.
My 2013 Ecoboost has been 100% reliable. Not an issue to speak of, and I drive the ever loving Hell out of that poor thing. My 2006 F150 with the 5.4 V8 was traded in at 154K miles. The only issue I had was a bad ignition coil at about 80K miles. I had a 2004 Dodge that I just had to dump for the Ford b/c it was such a POS. Can't speak for GMC, but Ford has been bullet proof for me.
@@CajunRulez gm trucks were really good till AFM I guess people think the eco boost wouldn’t be reliable as engines with turbos are usually not as reliable as naturally aspirated
I rather have the Limited with the raptor engine, massaging seats, in cab motion sensor 450hp and 550 torque power, panoramic roof, ext....and more. TO BE CONTINUE
@@netflixaccount3492 Well I live on the extremely hot and HUMID Louisiana Gulf coast. Different kind of hot, but the humidity and dense air make turbos less efficient. My Ecoboost is a 2013 with a bunch of miles on it. I tow a bass boat quite a bit and occasionally a heavy steel utility trailer. That little Ecoboost makes every V8 I've ever owned look foolish. And mine is first generation, heavier truck, with the old 6 speed tranny. I've also never had a problem with the truck. Just keeps on going. I recently made a 600+ mile trip towing my boat to Texas. 75 mph on the highway towing is a breeze. The engine just wants more.
That's weird the 16 sierra had LED light shaped like a G 4 month's before ford released the LIMIted with the same light's so is GM coughing or Ford throwing up weird lol.
The F-150 started with the middle cut designs in between their headlights since 2015. The Sierras were redesigned like that in 2019... You were saying?? Even the new electric Sierra has veeery similar new F-150 Lightning-looking headlights, come on now. . .
Adaptive Cruise Control on the Sierra Denali doesn't automatically maintain distance from the vehicle in front of you?!? That's not Adaptive Cruise Control!
Car and driver pulled quicker times with the ho 3.5 but not by much. I drove both and they felt pretty close. Of course I live at sea level so if I lived up north I'm sure the ecoboost would have a decent edge.
@@RAM-KINGOFTRUCKS If ram ever puts the 6.4 hemi from the srt in the ram limited I'd snatch that up any day over the Ford or Chevy. I usually don't care for dodge but they killed it with the new ram.
Honestly the only reason I would ever get the Sierra is for the 6.2 N.A.E it's always nice to hear a big boy under the hood. However I've always liked ford. But also I can't afford either so my opinion doesn't matter.
The F-150 is the faster truck and it’s noticeable as I have personally driven both. The interior quality is better in the F-150 and the seats are more comfortable. The Denali has better cameras and heads-up display, but the F-150 has a powered adjustable steering wheel where the GMC is still a manual adjust. The F-150 is definitely the better truck from an overall standpoint. Drive them both and you’ll see what I mean.
Allan Miles dude are you kidding ? Who told you that gmc is still a manual adjust steering wheel ? Almost all cars have powered adjustable, even 20000 dollars car, I can tell you be honest, there’re almost no manual steering wheel after 2000s, you can’t turn with single hand dude, even a small golf, if you can, it’s powered
I'd prefer that f150 Limited because every f150 Limited ever made by generation since 2013 were always my dream trucks. And this 2019 limited is definitely the one I want. I also had a 2014 f150 limited but this 2019 F150 limited I'm so in love with. That Platinum White metallic is just too gorgeous on it, and that's why it's my favorite color. Unlike GM you don't have to pay $500-1,000 extra just for other exterior colors. Any exterior color are all at the same price, no separate shit like GM does.
While I disagree with his forgiveness of the horrid interior of the Sierra, I love his passion and presentation. More video by him please. Very well done
@@thirstydogs810 how can you call the space in the Ford tight when they are basically the same size. The GM and Ford crew cabs are separated by less than an inch. The GM twins have less than inch more leg room up front, while the Ford has less than inch more room in the back. Move the Ford seat back or the Gm seat up a tad and they are the same. The GM trucks have a little more headroom and the Ford trucks have more shoulder room. All in all the the two are separated by less then .2 of an inch.
Check back in 10 years when the GM has rusted vs the F150 with the aluminum body. Also didn't mention the fuel efficiency comparison. The speed test would have been better in Sport Mode!
The GMC front end is WAAAY to busy and the interior is to. I was surprised by the Pontiac Grand Am looking interior in the top of the line GMC which I am a fan of. The F150 Limited screams luxury in every way. The center console shifter is the way go as I have had both column and console. I have seen a comparison of the New top of the line Ram vs the Limited and it is more on par with each other. With RAM usually coming out better in pricing, Ford has their work cut out. GM is on its way to loosing second place sales to RAM for the first time ever. The new Silverado design killed it. We live in great times having the option of top tier trucks such as these. In this comparison, the GMC doesn't come close. Check the RAM comparison out.
I understand your thought but I think they look executive or like a rugged truck with a tuxedo mystic about them. I’m in a new neighborhood and see plenty of workers riding down my street with that big GMC front end and rugged aftermarket tires. I’d still lean toward the F150 Limited.
I had a 2008 tundra. biggest pile of crap I ever owned. I had an 18 sierra and loved everything but the seats. Just got the denali and am loving it so far.
I've owned both and it seems like General Motors makes better quality stuff all the way around especially interior GMC interior is really nice compared to Ford is made with what looks like peices of scrap plastic inside I know from personal usage of having both trucks over the years the only thing that Ford has over the Denali is the full sun roof honestly Denali you get allot more trust me!!!
My Denali has raced 3 Limited 2020's all I have is Factory intake that I added on the build site not dealer installed this was factory and I'm out running these Turbo charged 450hp trucks no problem at all after 80 I walk the ford 2 truck length's to 100 wish it had the roof but other then that the ford is trying to hard and the GMC is just sitting back knowing its built better and tougher. Now I did the Muffler delete maybe picked up 5-10 hp but the sounds is nutt's for a truck just Sublime!!!!
@@sdawg4834 I'd prefer that F150 limited over that GMC Denali, even a hell lot more unique than that GMC Denali. You really won't see very many F150 Limiteds of any year on the road like you see most luxury trucks, and the limited has always been the best of the best top of the line F150 and they're still gorgeous and also super Luxurious. My dream truck, Limited F150 all the way, period.
@@chrisholland2016 yeah the GMC's especially 2017's feel like your driving a Impala with a bed attached to it. One of the biggest things I love about Ford trucks is that you feel like your in a truck and you have a lot of room. I'm 6'4" and absolutely hate the fact that i have to drive a GMC for my work truck
Actually I prefer the GMC sierra for now because its wide enough and so huge I also like the bumper plus di headlights, even though FORD is also nice and has a smart dashboard too,,, But the manual transmission the good better best
@trqmj It’s great. Love the attention to detail. Love the leather liked it more than the Fords. Has an entertainment center with wireless headset for the kids. Also I like the sound of the engine and the shifts sound really clean and powerful. I get compliments on the truck all the time.
How did Ford manage to design a grill on the front of a truck and actually make it off the ground that looks like a Chevy insignia? I can't believe that you didn't see that before it made it out to the public. Someone made a big mistake!
I know what a shyt pile for $80k. If I won this truck I would not fart or even sit in it, flatbed it to a dealer and sell immediately. Go away...butthole of a truck says I'm ugly but accept me, I'm GM.
Both of y’all wrong. It’s a limited with all the bells and whistles but gmc is trash they come out with denalis looking like Ltz type shit you need to spend more money to get a maxed out Denali
I would never buy ford again ! Omg I hate it! I got a 2019 Ford limited god damn it ! 5 times recalls ! Y’all believe that ? that’s fine as long as they fix it, but the worst thing is my fuel pump ! broken twice, first time it was like can’t give gas, the engine started shacking and won’t start again, I had to call ppl to tow away, second time was horrible! I try to give gas but the car won’t move, well good job ford ! It suddenly accelerates after I tried few times to give gas, I almost crash the gate ! What the hell was that ford ?
GM cant design a truck worth $hit.... that interior is so patheticly dated already.... i cant get over that gay base model looking column shifter .. BUAHAHAHA
Northlander can fill it with lots of stuff. I don’t see the problem with a column shift at all. It’s not even something I think about. Just put the mf in gear and go,
They're actually excellent vehicles. Went 173k before I changed the plugs and it didnt miss a beat. At 300k now and no major problems. I would change the stereo tho; damnit they're stereo systems suck sausages.
If you're a dude who's likes good-looking women, get a GMC. If your a little sissy boy who voted for Hillary, buy a Ford. It really is that simple people 😉
Yeah, put a 460 (7.3) Shelby Cobra jet in my GMC and, since mine is a manual, I only drive it when I REALLY want to drive. When I'm going to buy some milk, I use an old beat up Honda civic. I know you didn't ask but okay.
