AG Saelee Films Thank you so much that is very helpful. I do work hard and I appreciate you giving back just a little bit. I will continue to offer great content! Have a great upcoming week
The xle is so much more luxurious looking. I find the limited interior looks kind of cheesy with the wood trim and ugly seat colour. I also prefer the rims on the xle. I bought the xle. The middle bench seat which is the option I chose is better in my opinion then the captain chairs and it has the pull-down armrest with cup holders. As for the rear seats, I've never put them up lol.
Oh my gosh! After a google search inquiry of XLE vs Limited I came across this and decided to check it out. And I couldn't be happier!!! Cute, funny and informative. Thank you Jeff.
Amos Thomas Great question but there is no way to answer that question now. It depends on the trim level that you get and the taxes you were charged and DMV you were charged. I would assume the lowest out the door would be on an LE four-cylinder since it has the lowest sticker price to start with.
@@randomrazr thats annoying, sorry to hear that. Maybe u shd make a video so toyota see it and u might get some new ones for free. nick murray complained about his porsches and went viral.
@@itr0863 took a bit to get used to primarily because I’m came from a Wrangler. After 1.5 years, I’m happy with my purchase. Had the recall done in September. No problems. Only have 3K miles due to limited driving because of COVID.
@@garyveneziano3337 my wifes crv its on its last leg and i think we might just take it to carmax just to get a little something for it and use that with our down payment. Ive been searching for 3+ days and found an 2018 xle silver with grey interior with the captains chairs. 15k miles for $28.9, its also CPO at a toyota dealer. We might take a look at it this weekend. Anything that i should be looking out for in an 18’?
@@garyveneziano3337 thank you so much for that tip! i checked its carfax and that recall was indeed taken care of! i'm tired of taking my 4runner on trips so hopefully we can get this highlander.
I leased the Highlander Limited Platinum with the panoramic sunroof. Love it! This is my 3rd Highlander. I noticed that Toyota moved the charging outlet from the rear to the 2nd row leaving no charging outlet in the rear. I miss the outlet. I believe it's back in the 2020 redesign.
Great Video. I like the XLE with the 2nd row Captain Chair's. I love the Limited, it is very nice. I'm more of a basic kinda guy. I don't have to have all the bells and whistles.
Jeff, I love your videos. I am not sure if you have ever addressed this topic? FWD vs AWD I am a huge fan of Toyota and in particularly the Highlander. From everything I have read so far, AWD is really not necessary for most buyers. What I worry about with AWD is the extra expense at purchase, the slight decrease in gas millage and the additional expense if repairs are needed later on. Also at resale would buyers be scared off if a vehicle DID NOT have AWD. What do you tell your customer to buy FWD vs. AWD.
Just got the xle, and added the chrome bumper protector and black/brushed nickel roof racks, now looks like a limited, with the xle rims which in my opinion are better than the chrome wheels.
My tranny went out on my Tundra under warranty. My dealership provided me with an XLE until the truck was done. The better half thoroughly enjoyed the loaner. Now she wants to trade up to a Highlander. I appreciate your video and information. I hope it helps us figure out which package to pick. Greetings from Central Texas!
We just bought a 2019 Highlander 2 weeks ago from Coad Toyota of Cape Girardeau, Mo. We bought the XLE. The limited is nice, I'll give you that, but not nice enough to pay the $3,000.00 difference. I love the rims on the LXE's better than the ones on the Limited. The rims on the Limited looked like silver painted on plastic hub caps. My wife is VERY happy with her Highlander, it's Shore Line Blue. Which is a beautiful color. The whole staff at Coad were amazing, very helpful, and not pushy at all. To wrap it all up, WE LOVE OUR TOYOTA AND THE MANY FEATURES. Ours has the JBL stereo system in it. Has AMAZING SOUND QUALITY.
Puddle lights, heated steering wheel, cooled seats and the JBL. You can see feel and hear the difference and it's well worth the difference in price. Limited FTW!
I don't think the hard stuff is coming down for awhile - very funny. A guy that likes what he does and it shows. If I was closer to NC, I'd buy a car from him.
Hey Jeff great video! I had a question about the 2020 Corolla. Is there any way you could make a video just about the Corolla XLE? There aren’t many videos about the top trim of this model. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you ! 😁
I purchased a LE plus in july. It was totalled out in September. Not my fault so I decided I was going to upgrade with my new car. Mostly because I hated the scout link gps in the LE plus. It's horrible and I heard only the XLE and up in the 20q9 will get the android auto update once it launches in the 2020 so I got the XLE. The rims are better and the very small differences between it and limited were not enough to really justify the cost difference. My favorite thing has to be not having to use the key fob to lock/unlock the doors. I love that I can use the buttons on the back and the sensors on the drivers and passengers doors.
I'm debating between a Highlander Hybrid XLE vs. a RAV 4 Hybrid Limited (fully loaded) since they are approaching same price. What are your thoughts? I like the 3rd row seating of the Highlander for family but the RAV 4 Hybrid as the MPG and Tech......
We went from a Highlander XLE down to a Rav 4 and we definitely regret the decision. We regret it so much we just looked today at the highlander again. We missed the room quite a lot which we didn’t think would be an issue but it is.. I would definitely say go for the Highlander, you won’t regret it. We are trading our Rav 4 next week for the highlander..
The RAV 4 seems to be just a little smaller and doesn't have a lot of head room. I'm 6'3 and I kept hitting my head when I would get in the RAV 4. I don't in the Highlander. And our Highlander XLE has a retractable moon roof. I didn't see where the guy in the video said that the LIMITED OR THE LXE had it. He said they both had moon roofs. So that's very misleading, cause ours has a retractable moonroof. He never mentioned that the front and back windshield wipers have a vent below them that will melt the snow/ice off the wipers when it's freezing outside. Our salesman told us that comes standard on ALL TOYOTA'S. Just a heads up.
Can you talk about the key fob and if the 2019 highlander se comes with a factory alarm, when the doors are locked and if so how does it work? Thank you.
I drive a Highlander. When it’s time to get a new one I’m going to drive all the way to where this guy is from Houston, TX just to get my dose of all the dad jokes! 🤘😂
Dude is corny as ever but I like it, I subscribed.....I used to watch theses videos deciding if I should grab a highlander now I watch them in my Highlander Limited
It was easy for me to pick a Toyota Highlander, I picked one that I could afford, no monthly payments. I have the LE, I don't need a luxury, sweet looking ride . :-/
Toyota Jeff: Can you watch all the minutes of the ads on my videos? it helps a lot. I let ad ran and guess what, it’s a Ford Explorer ad. It’s a direct competitor to the highlander too, Lool. Jeff, you helping RU-vid advertise Ford on your channels 😂
Andrew Draxlar hahah yeah that is very interesting. What is very interesting is that advertisers bid on each individual RU-vid channel by auction. So obviously Ford wanted pretty badly to be on my channel. I find that fascinating...jeff
