And a bit sad. The Germans have been leading the planned obsolescence era of cars since they changed their minds about reputation and so their cars stopped being reliable.
mercedes used to make the best cars before and they still do now, just because of some cracks doesnt mean the car is bad, BMW for a matter of fact is even worse so dont come hating on a mercedes but on some bmw video
And they're getting more and more expensive, the new eqe and eqs have very cheap air vents, they look good in silver but feel super cheap and loose when moved
Hey man, I find your videos so wonderfully relaxing. Even if that may not be the real reason why you make the videos, but your channel is worth gold to me. Please continue with the good work and best regards from Germany
Buying a used Mercedes is awful with the level of features. Too many options are a la carte and when it comes to E/CLS level cars, they should be better equipped. I drive an 18 E-400 coupe. I was looking at a few that were a reasonable distance. I went with the one with the best equipment to get leather, vented seats, and the adaptive headlights, etc. Shame it was black/black. I would have preferred a different color combo. I blame the dealers ordering their cars and MB US for selecting the packages. I think they are getting better by going with the good-better-best system. Still, to get the good features, you need to get lucky or go with an S class.
You know that its not just about money why they are using plastic... they need to obey the EU regulations that get tougher every year. And by your logic cars today would weight 3 ton on average. Then people would start crying about the consumption.
@@RossTheLoss Even Fiat makes cars out of plastic but they don't squeak this much. It is obvious that they are abusing of cheap plastic to have higher margins, it has nothing to do with EU regulations...
@@RossTheLoss Look at Lexus. Extremely solid cars and they get tremendous fuel economy. Audi and BMW also make some pretty solid cars. Hell Toyota, Honda and Mazda use plastic but it feels more solid than a benz.
expected from a benz huh? mercedes used to make the best cars before and they still do now, just because of some cracks doesnt mean the car is bad, BMW for a matter of fact is even worse
@@Leon13410 i would expect a car that cost around triple the GTI and is advertised as a luxury car to actually be a luxury car and not have the same built quality as my $20k GTI

Absolutely awful car. I’m waiting for mercedes to go bankrupt. They are a shadow of the company they once were. They lowered their standards to compete with the Asian markets and now those countries produce a far better product.

Really strangely specced car… premium audio and cooled seats yet also base seats and the shittier COMAND unite. Wood trim didn’t too bad tho and that’s one of if not their biggest weakness
