Yeah they do every time to increase tv ratings, although the actual weather forecast only gave 10% chance of rain they falsely announced 90% chance of rain to keep the viewers watching as it was going to be a boring race.
5. The continued existence of the Monaco Grand Prix. What a joke! Gotta love the "car park" on lap 16. Five freaking cars at dead stop, blocking the track. Annually, this is the worst race of the season with no chance of overtaking, and now Mercedes is ruining the sport by dominating to the point of making each season BORING. The manufacturer's championship was decided after two races.
mercedes not achieving a 1-2: check williams not achieving a 19-20: check racer in the top 6 crashed: check bwoah that race was epic!!! (for 2019 standards)
Lewis: "I'm really struggling for pace" Gets pole Lewis: "My tyres are non existent" Wins grand Prix Lewis: "My car is literally on fire and my front wing is broken" Wins WDC by 200+ points
@@jomillen5131 Kubica was 0.017s off Hamilton`s pace as some point. Williams didn`t pit Kubica under the safety car AGAIN! Another race worsened even further by their bizarre strategy.
@@MIchielVreeken Well, but also compared to cars behind him. It's often enough you see people driving around refusing to pit and they just drop from like for example 8th to 15th easily BEFORE they even make the stop. (And it's not like there was a train forming behind Grosjean so he did have pace)
@@sergeantsupreme4395 Surprisingly? This car is second faster than the competition, even F3 rookie would need to try really hard to lose WDC in that...
@@KuK137 You are totally missing what he is saying (Ham was a bad starter). Also the Ferrari is faster on straights. Also no not anyone can win if they have a good car.
@@KuK137 yes, surprisingly, Hamilton has never been a good started, in 2016 when he was on pole Rosberg almost always managed to pass him. Now when he's on pole it's becoming impossible for Bottas to overtake
My dad asked me who won today, I said "Hamilton" then realised that had been my answer about 90% of the times people have asked me in recent years. People must think he races alone.
Verstappen "Lewis turned into me there" yeah max... That's what a corner is, you are going into a chicane taking the inside line there in Monaco is taking a risk
and he wasn't even next to him, he barely had his front wheel next to Hamiltons back wheel. Does he expect everybody will just let him pass for free? And this season it is quite clear that Verstappen prefers to make both crash out than let anybody pass him.
@@richboy900 that why,i don't have news or radio on until I see the highlights on channel 4,ben Edwards is the best commentary with DC. .and best introduction presenter in Steve.eddie, and Lee McKenzie.and mark.
Why would you be the only one? F1 is a world wide sport with millions of fans and you're acting like it's somehow special to watch highlights after watching a race. What are you, 5 years old?
This was probably the most flustered Lewis Hamilton has been in an F1 race. Normally afterwards he will talk about how he had things in control and how strong he was, this time "I nearly crashed 30 times.....I'm just glad it's over"
He wouldn't be so dumb to pull such a move. He was very close to Ricciardo last year but he's wise enough to not try it cuz that wouldn't have worked either.
Social media whenever a driver makes a mistake and crashes: "Terrible, what was he thinking?" Whenever Leclerc makes a mistake and crashes "Aw, poor Sharl. He's so unlucky" 😂
Honda: "Bruh all of our car finished in top 10 in Monaco GP" Alonso: "Seriously! No DNF? Honda: "Nope, all four fast & reliable" Alonso: "Unbelievable , this is Unbelievable"
@@delaz4ck543 I mean considering that 2 years ago their engines could barely finish the race without catching on fire (all thanks to McLaren's "superior" aerodynamics), isn't this a fucking improvement to the point where a honda-powered car is capable of being on the same pace as the Mercedes (at least in this race)?
@@gerijokub7737 their engines were already much better than Renault both in terms of speed and reliability 2 years ago. It was all down to McL great chassis that provided zero cooling
This was the only race in the year so far where the top drivers were all actually fighting wheel to wheel against each other. Aaaand was also the only on that that I lost, smh.
Somehow it works with the worst possible scenario. Screw leclerc qual > force him to make a mistake to deploy SC > RB fucked their pit stop and get pen > P2 😂
@@mgecko2959 This is how dumb your comment looks when you actually check the actual results of all races this season: William finishes in: Australia P16 and P17 (3 DNFs therefore technically last; 19-20) Bahrain P15 and P16 (4 DNFs therefore technically last; 19-20) China P16 and P17 (3 DNFs therefore technically last; 19-20) Baku P15 and P16 (4 DNFs therefore technically last; 19-20) Spain P17 and P18 (2 DNFs therefore technically last; 19-20) But of course you obviously didn't take into account the DNFs sooo yeah
@@hisaii "technically" ?? LOL you need reality check. Race ends they cross the line as 16th and 17th car and nobody cares if they would finish in that position if someone else didn't had reliability issue or wouldn't crashed. Would you say that Hamilton won last year German GP only technically in fact he was P3 cause Vettel crashed out from P1 and Bottas got team orders? Or would you say Hamilton only technically finished in P1 in Bahrain this year because Vettel spun and Leclerc had engine issue? Or would you say technically Alonso is 2010 Champion because team pitted him in wrong time? I care about actual result not "technically" created by you result.
@@mgecko2959 It's a fucking joke calm down, and they did finish last and second to last every race until monaco. Last and second to last of the drivers still on the track. Ofc if you don't count DNFs they aren't last, but there isn't anyone slower than them in any of those races (again, of the drivers that finished the race).
its the blessing and curse of monaco. Youre always on the edge of your seat because something could happen. Youre always disappointed because nothing did happen. It was exciting as hell how Max challenged Lewis, but he shouldve been past.
We want overtaking. F1 already sucks for overtaking, so they invented DRS, the phoniest thing in sports . . . instead of redesigning cars so competitive passing is actually possible. Monaco SUCKS.
Nepotism is not good for the sport and a better driver should have his seat, it’s just that simple. I enjoyed seeing Force India over the years, they were scrappy. Racing Point.... not so much.
Verstappen: “It was fun! I was trying to get ahead of Lewis because I knew that if I would get ahead I could drive off, because we were much faster and his tyres were destroyed, so he had no grip."
@@sanchezboy8654 Mostly Vettel a former maestro of gran turismo which I knew kept his head cool with that resilience he'll take the fight to the rival knows the greatest "Lewis Hamilton"
