Best review I’ve seen! Agree that steering is very vague........for some reason, I felt safe on my Harley Fat Bob....I should test drive the slingshot again, thanks for the review
Ha! Maybe it was exaggerated a bit, but the sound does resonate in the helmet, You Tube. Word on the street is there's a new powertrain and tuned muffler for 2020. We'll have to see if we can get our hands in one and do an update. Thanks for watching!
Believe it or not, helmets don't block out the sound or they'd be dangerous for motorcyclists. The sound actually reverberated in the helmet, making it worse than without, hwnce the need for earplugs. Hope this explains our reasoning better, Greg Nutter. Thanks for watching!
Tree-wheelers are always "odd"...I feel like missing a wheel OR having one too much. The Morgan Tree-wheeler still is king, IMHO. Because of it's classic looks. This thing is the opposite... Too much of the wrong. But another splendid report 👍
Great honest review - HUGE question - if you didn't wear a helmet, would you get pelted by insects? Or is the taller screen protecting from insects (not asking about debris)? Thank you in advance
Thank you, David Seda. The windscreen has a decent height so you should be fairly free from bugs, especially if you get the roof which we assume helps with airflow, too. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
AutoAcademics I just think you were looking for some personal satisfaction. I have a couple of neighbors with this vehicle. None of them drive in the fashion you did, with the helmet and top up. I felt that if this was your vehicle that the review reflected how you thought you needed to drive. Its essentially a motorcycle so it’s going to be loud. Or as we say in Chicago “No shit Sherlock”.
@@sasothestrategizer It's not about personal satisfaction. It's about sharing our personal experience with our viewers. It sounds as though you wanted Chris to say what you wanted to hear. We all have different perspectives and what we shared is from our perspective. Chris rides motorcycles, too, and he's never made comments about them being too loud, which is why he mentioned in this case it could be the sound reverberating under the roof. Also, despite whether or not your neighbors drive it with helmets, the protection is still required in many States with helmet laws. Bottom line is that all reviews come from a personal point of reference. Otherwise, they are just a regurgitation of stats and facts. We appreciate your comments and thanks for watching!
