Installed a full system exhaust on a new Suzuki M109. The Cobra Speedster Swept Exhaust System looks so good on the M109s. I didn't get a chance to film a ride on it, but they sound great too. Also, a 280-fat tire does fit on the stock rim of the M109 and gives the bike a mean look.

F1 light came on and stays on permanently after I put the Cobra on. Nice video by the way.

It should not have that issue. The Cobra kits come with a dummy weight for the exhaust servo motor that takes place of the cables so FI won't come on. Another common issue is damaging the O2 sensor wires while swapping them.

I have this exhaust i want to fit, im in uk and guy i bought it off said to use exhaust sensor omitter and 1 or 2 oxygen sensor omitters depending on what my bike has, guy from work said to drill where the existing sensors are and just thread them into the exhaust? Briefly watched this video there to see if you needed any of that but couldnt see it, or are american bijes setup differently? Its the same bike i have just called an m1800r here lol

Hard to say what you have but there should be holes pre drilled for the O2 sensors. You would not want to delete them, it will throw FI codes and the bike would run rough. Only time you should delete them is if the ECU was flashed and programmed to delete them. Also you should have a dummy weight to install on your exhaust valve servo motor which will trick the bike into thinking that it is still connected and not throw any codes.

@@akcycles it was ommitters you plug into the sensors to trick the ecu, def don't think it has predrilled holes, and the dummy weight you mentioned do I need that regardless?

Did you need to tune/dyno the bike after install?

It's recommended. The idle was a little choppy and the power delivery in low rpms was too. Will the bike run without a tune yes lol you really don't get any power gains either without a tune.

It doesn’t help my brother if you keep moving the camera back-and-forth like that it’s supposed to be still so I can get a better perspective of. What are you doing?
