As for the ride quality you spent some time describing the feel, but the A4 allroad in the US has magnetic dampers that adjust quite a bit with the drive select mode & Volvo has fixed rate dampers. Also, the Volvo shown in your video had the 20” wheels, the Audi had 18” - both large differences. Does the A4 allroad in Canada not have magnetic dampers?
Just look at the steering wheel, tell it all compared with ”german design” however i do reserve myself to mb products cause they are both brilliant technology and great design.. so beautiful cars
@@julien7705 I really like Volvo too and here in North America they are also one of the only companies that sell a wagon. But the quality and reliability these days is down a fair bit so while I considered going Volvo, I ended up staying with Audi and so far, no regrets, it's the perfect car for me. As I said, drives great, it's fast if you need it and I can fit all of my production gear inside.
Have the xc60 inscription, almost perfect car (just don’t like touch screen)... engine, handling, interior quality, comfort, everything is top notch. Honestly you can’t go wrong with both cars
Who offers the best color that isn't black, white, silver, or grey? Does sales volume or dealer network factor into this comparison? I'd choose the volvo to be unique/an individual... I'd choose the Audi to be part of a (enthusiast) community and leverage the copiuos aftermarket.
@@lbnewell23 I ended up with the Allroad. I don't like the interior on the Volvo as much and I hate touchscreens in cars. But it is a nice, and close, second. Wagons for the win!
@SnowBoarder&Skier CR is total BS and Volvo is just suffering from some inconsistences in the multimedia system. People do not know how to deal with it and declear it unreliable.
Volvo's Haldex based part-time AWD system is inferior to Audi's full-time AWD Torsen based Quattro system. Audi's transmission also beats Volvo's Aisin transmission hands down.
Both are nice but the Audi has proper tactile controls for common features where the Volvo has everything on the touch screen which is a major design fail. And too much fingerprint attracting piano black in the Volvo. I ended up buying the Audi and I love it and the interior is perfect.
yet another reviewer looking for the best car....no need to point ar a winner. There is none. Both are good and overpriced , will fit different customers. Still very good and minimalistic review.
Funny thing...if one didn't know the brand/ origin, they could say the Audi's interior is more "nordic", simplistic/ Ikea-style, when Volvo appears more "luxury"...
I have a close friend that owned the Volvo CC. He hated it because it was constantly in need of repair and every bill was at least $1,000.00. He found the dealership and its service department to be very arrogant and predatory. This was in Chicago.
Volvos best model👍🏽Supercar specially my white 48v mildhybrid with 190 dieselhp + 7 electric .Consumsion only 5 lit/ 100 km. Almost 1550 km range! 👍🏽😍🇸🇪
Why? These are specs tested by unified methods by professionals and are easily found. When tested by amateurs they will still be disputed for not being made in a correct and fair way. I think this kind of impression videos are more interesting. Great comparison.
@@miatadreamer-jack9613 they are! but they have different price categories. Volvo's V90 Cross Country is the model closer in price and in specs to Audi's A4 Allroad. the V60 Cross Country is closer in specs and price to a fully loaded Subaru Outback
@@Mirror1973 he just said the price for both of them is almost the same? The canadian website show the prices I checked? The v90 in canada is more expensive than the Allroad?
How about actually testing and comparing the cars for handling, stopping, acceleration, steering response, transmission response! . Sorry, but this was 17 minutes of my life I'm not getting back.
Your video was a great comparison, but your production value is poor & choppy. You also didn't go into any technical details, like the differences in AWD systems (Volvo's Haldex part-time AWD vs Audi's Torsen based Quattro full-time AWD), or the difference in transmissions (Volvo's Japanese Aisin transmission vs Audi's 7-speed DCT)...if you cited these technical differences, it would be more clear which had more superior engineering & ability. Audi has a panoramic roof vs Volvo's smaller sunroof, and no mention of reliability where Audi is has a better track record.
Audi.. good car, stinking boring typical german design apart from benz products, the benz guys know how to design, ill have to give them that Still audi is way ahead above ”japanese design”….😳
@@oskarola997 I use to have a 2006 volvo s60 2.5 turbo made in Belgium. I loved that car and I thought I was going to keep it to the ground. Unfortunately after 240000 km on it I had to change the front left wheel bearing.I paid it in gold ,guess what ,it was made in china and last for 4 moths only..I sold that car just because of that.I will not buy any chinese car any more. Volvo Polstar ,XC90 AND ALL PARTS ARE MADE IN CHINA.IN AN ENVIRONMENT WHERE THE LABOUR IS PAID $1 A DAY.Sorry I wont buy it!!!!!
