Kanagawa Prefecture, located south of Tokyo, faces the Pacific Ocean in the south. The area is also called "Shonan," but the area to the west is sometimes called "Seisho."
The climate in this area is so warm that it was used as a vacation home in the distant past, and of course, the ocean views have also soothed the hearts of those who visited.
This video is a collection of footage taken in 2020 on "Seisho." The 185 series train (white body with green stripes) featured in the video was made for the purpose of operating as an express train in this area, but now (2024) it no longer operates on a regular basis. The footage was mainly taken in September 2020, but the port scenery was added later. It's a jumble of cicadas, nightingales, and nightingales, but please feel free to take a look.
And one more thing. There are many small wooden station buildings remaining in this area. It's a bit of a rare sight these days, so I also captured it on video.
The fishing port scenery has nothing to do with railways, but I like this scenery so I added it.
