Hi Kevin, I’m very close to buying one of these but just need to know ...are they a car you can live with every day ie what are the comfort levels like ..bearing in mind I’m a 62 year old petrol head ( currently driving a Porsche Cayenne turbo with PASM and air suspension) Would appreciate your feedback
@@MrDallman I'm a 66 Alfisti since my 20th year of life.... It has included Alfetta, Spider, GTV6 2.5, Milano/75 Verde, 164L and now Stelvio Quadrifoglio. Awesome, just awesome! Not a hint of issues, shit eating grin everyday. A looker at every traffic light. However, my bones and joints do feel the beating from all the sports I practiced. Mine has the Sparco Carbon fiber seats and they are very hugging and not easy certain days when my hip joints scream for tenderness. So I take an analgesic and put my smile back on!!! Enjoy!
In "Race" choose the softer suspension setting! It wil make "her" more comfy, hardly loosing any sportiness. And, it's an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox shifting as quick (some claim even quicker) as Porsche's double-clutch gearbox!
Great review. You forgot to mention the best this car offers: 12-to-1 steering ratio. Normal cars have 14.5-to-1, sports cars like Porsche and Ferrari have 13-to-1. This makes the Stelvio and Giulie be driven Go-Kart'ish.
You have it right. I've had one stelvio for a little over a year. My mean consumption is 14mpg because if I wanted a suv to do 23 mpg, I would have bought the regular stelvio. This thing begs to be driven hard and most of the time...I can't resist ;) really nice review
the first release was pretty sketchy on the quality indeed. The drive mode dongle felt like it was plucked out of a Mazda. Seemed like every surface you'd interact with was cheaply made, while all the surfaces you look at was high quality. Very weird.
