@@petroa.9134 i have the paddle shift version. the sound yes can be a bit underwelming below 3000 rpm but then it sounds great especially with manual upshifts. I did read a lot about the brakes and all the comments are the same that because of the brake by wire system the feeling isn't the best. Well i agree but you get used to it very quick and for me it isn't an issue. I have the ceramic brakes and they great. However they need to be warmed up especially when wet. The ZF gearbox is very good too. However as an direct replacement for a S class? i am not so sure. Giulia needs attention when driven while an S class drives itself really.

I couldn't agree more. The Giulia QV is brilliant, from the track, to road trips to being a grocery getter.

I'm on my seecond Giulia Quadrifoglio - also no issues from me on either car. In fact, I came BACK to Alfa on this second QV, so that I could have a fun car to use for roadtrips with the family. I have no concerns about reliability based on my own experience. I'm actually working on documenting my QV ownership on my channel

I have one too, no issues, apart from the occasional alarm going off, it’s Italian! Mine is 2018 before the particular filter, sounds amazing. I’ve tracked it too.

Same here, mine has done London to Germany twice now and it's been faultless. Cruise in good comfort across, then hit up Hockenheim and the Nürburgring and whilst you´re there it´s a perfect daily.

@@carswithluke yeah. I've only tried a 1990s Defender some years ago. Horrible to drive but it had a liftkit, big tires, and a few other offroad bits so it looked cook and could get to anywhere you wanted. And we needed it to get to a cabin in the mountains here in Norway in the middle of the winther with no real road up to it.

Why on earth would a SUV be pointless ???? If you need an easy access car and a one to move stuff around on a regular basis and beat any other SUV (V6 and most of the V8's) in the world from 0-100 kms/h ...... this SUV is the best buy !! The Giulia QV is beautiful, but not practical at all , not easy to get in and out of and is slower than the Stelvio (0-100 kms/h ....;-)))) and isn't AWD.

Haha yes! Can also be driven in normal quiet mode of course, I just never did 😅

footballcoreano Unfortunately it’s not only in the US. I’m with my second Stelvio Diesel after a hassle free experience with the first one and still have to answer reliability questions from my acquaintances. FCA should do a greater effort to promote the quality of these cars. They’re not only fantastic to drive, but also no headache at all for ownership. But it also depends on the stupidity of the customers I believe .....

The “farts” actually are caused by excess fuel being burnt in the exhaust pipe, it is a by product of most dual clutch transmissions, it isn’t an artificial sound.

Yeah in dynamic mode it only opens later on so to fully hear it you have to have it in race mode then it stays always open. In neutral mode its totally quiet.
