ARRMA is back with a bunch of upgrades to their 4x4 line that includes the MEGA and BLX RCs. They've improved the shock with silicone O-rings to help stop them from leaking and changed out the STX2 transmitter that many people didn't like. THEY ARE LISTENING! That's one of my favorite things about ARRMA-their engagement with the RC community. They don't claim perfection, but they strive for it and factor in our experiences with their vehicles.

😁👍 Nice showcase Tony! I am so glad they listened to their customers and updated and did improvements to this RC line of cars other than scraping it and just bringing out a totally new line.. I hate when companies change and discontinue RC cars only after a couple years!

Great new studio it looks really good. This model looks solid. I cant say i am wild about the super sleek shell for my personal taste. I prefer them a bit more boxy....if only they were swapable. Thanks for sharing

Good to see they've made the drivetrain brushless upgradeable. My girl bought me a senton mega 2 years ago and for those drivetrains you may as well buy another arrma that's already brushless instead of upgrade. Which is why a big rock v3 is on it's way to me. What you have is the perfect first rc for anyone who is getting into hobby grade rcs.

Awesome cant wait for the brushless buggy to come out. The V3 should address a lot of the previous issues including that terrible radio, servo, unshielded bearings, leaky shocks. Good to see an adjustable motor mount.

I bought mine yesterday and played 20 min and it stopped working. I had to take it apart thank God it was easy. A rock got stuck in the motor. So the upgrade will not keep the rocks out of the motor 😢😢

Buying this means you're giving up the chance to get Arrma 3s electronics and possibly other upgrades for under $100. It's cool, but I see the blx as a better deal personally.

@@CCxRC That's one way to look at it certainly. But if I wanted to purchase at a hobbyshop a new Arrma branded brushless Blx combo with the heatsink etc, it would cost over $180 extra and this Mega would still be missing some blx upgrades even after spending over $400 on it.

It's not a starting point . It's brick wall. Can not upgrade . The spur and clutch system is fine toothed. Stripped a bunch. So they sell $70 assembly the 3S one. 220+70= price for 3S . Plus tires are not the same. . Bottom line Mega / 3S / 6S are all different for a reason and by design . If your thinking as a roller to upgrade DON'T!!!!!!
