@@VinCode17 I had a Ryker 900 Ace. I ended up selling it because the winters suck here and I couldnt ride it as much as I wanted. I have a sports car now but I am looking to get back on a 2 or 3 wheeled bike again soon just dont want to spend 15k for something I might only get to ride 4 months a year.

I’ve only had mopeds in the past but people drive crazy here so I felt unsafe and use my car. How’s your experience as a woman? lol

@@isaac198428 so far just a few idiots on the road want to race or follow to closely, but I maneuver pretty good, I had a guy last week follow me and honk and blow kisses, its really crazy it's like a big deal that I am a girl..lol

@@MotoTaco You can do that with the 900 Ace, don't need the Rally but the Rally comes with "Rally Mode" which takes it to a level above Sport. These things really do promote pure joy and laughter, just fun all the way around

Jason, I'm also disabled (not handicap we don't like to use that word anymore). I've been paralyzed for over 40 years but have been riding a BMW sidecar rig for about 30. This tryke looks rad! Seat height is low-- perfect for wheelchair to bike transfers at 23.5." Auto transmission means no shiftng. All you need is footplates (not pegs) and Velcro straps or snowboard bindings to secure the feet and you're having a blast! Good luck!

They can change the foot brake to hand brake like regular motorcycle you should try it

Turning is more like a 4 wheeler. If you give it gas turning it’ll wanna whip out the back end, it’s pretty easy to do. But if you’re just cruising it won’t

Now that you point that out, I bet someone will make a conversion kit for it. I mean they already have conversion kits for ATVs to snowmobiles

Here the 900 starts around 10/11k which is comparable to a new 600 sport bike. So to a lot of buyers its a valid option when buying new.

@@MotoTaco - 15k USD in Sweden where I live, for the 900 rally. It's just a little too expensive imo. It's not on can am though, but import tax and other shit.

They do have an off road version! More knobby tires and different suspension. Bigger rims too.

@@MotoTaco great, like to see one. My friends have canam and razor quads and they are cool. I thought a AWD on/off road tyke would be a good option also; tykes can be driven on muddy or even icy roads, bikes can't .

@@1woksape606 Stick some knobbies on the bike and mud/ice ain't a problem anymore. Quads, Trikes, and Bikes are all capable off-road if you build them for it.

exhausts now don't really do much for power, just weight and sound. I'm sure someone tunes them but no real upgrades like other bikes have. Most people buy them to cruise and look cool and don't care about power.

The front suspension is just like an older rearwheel drive car. It has a swaybar and all.

@@MotoTaco I had fun but it was way harder to ride in corners then I expected. I drove it about 215 kilometers (with some stops) here in Switzerland and we got a lot of corners. 😁 Does the power steering in the Spyders make a big difference in cornering? Also the saddle was way to hard for me probably the comfort one would make it better.

Ya I found it’s like riding a 4 wheeler. The power steering would only help with pushing the handlebars, not so much with the leaning in corners.

@@daedaetinez6406 you don't need a drivers license for a bike, but a motorcycle license, but ya you need a license nonetheless. IDK what texas rules are but here it is just a drivers license needed

Honestly most would be fine with the 600. The Ryker isn't great touring and a 60p works great in the city. Although the price difference isn't all that high for the upgrade typically.

Very lit’l difference, minus top speed, torque and weight. The 600 is Very Capable, unless you want to chirp tires on take off, go speeds over 95 or just have the extra power to say you do.

Must be that INLINE 3 ....transverse triple er "power plant" .

Triples are great. The spyder is just heavy. The f3s is a great package. Sure, 0-60 happens in 5+ seconds, but boy is it a fun 5 seconds. Also I think is mounted inline, not transverse. Next time I go to my dads place I'll check.

I was just chillin when it passed me 😂 but yes those first 5 seconds are fun

This review is of the ryker 900. My apologies. The f3s features the 1300. I don't have one to look at after all. So far as the windscreen goes, I couldn't agree more. Fortunately the s doesn't have one.

The same thing that happens when you get a flat on a normal motorcycle lol. You want a motorcycle to have a donut? Go buy a car

Call your insurance for a tow truck. That's what you have to do with a lot of cars now anyway. My son has a 2014 kia and it has no spare and no place to haul one.

The Ryker is a lot more fun in the city but the RSS will be better on the highway. I'd recommend the Ryker or jumping to a used Spyder RT if you want to 'tour' personally.

@@BlueOvals24 I didn't get a chance to ride the 600, even moving them to and from the warehouse, but if you're mainly gonna ride in the city I don't think you would notice a huge difference.

They are usually referred to as just a Bike like the Spyders. Trikes have 2 rear and one front and are Completely different to ride. And the Ryker is completely different from the Niken because of the width and the front suspension does not let it lean when you corner.

Interesting. I never messed with Honda’s so they’re a grey area for me. Unlike the DCT, the ryker is a big moped so the transmission technically never changes gears like the DCT (if I’ve read up on it right). Looks like the DCT still has a 6 speed gearbox

@@MotoTaco that is correct, the dual clutch transmission or DCT has gears...Honda has had this technology for years, and works great. Allows people with disabilities to ride if they desire.

Short answer: yes. Long answer: it has a cvt transmission so there is only 1 gear. Think of this like a moped, it only has 1 gear.

That would be Absolutely useless 💯% The rear tire will not grip enough to make it worth while. I can turn off the babysitting modes on my Rally and cook the rear tire! And I'm not talking about POWER BRAKING like all the sissy RU-vid videos I've seen 🤣👍
