The tractor protection valve closes and the trailer____ brakes will come on when there is a major leak in the breaks line. The answer should be “emergency” not parking

Same here, I knew it that it was emergency I'm taking the practice test and I know pretty much 98% of the questions but I was here just to checking there's a few wrong questions in here , not just here on some other knowledge test by the way.

The question before you back under a trailer make sure the: trailer brakes are locked. You have it as air brakes are off.

The tractor protection valve will close and the trailer (EMERGENCY) brake will come on. Not the parking brake.

May 8th Columbus OH 🥳 past my CDL A air brakes and combinations 🎉🎉 some questions are not correct but this video helped a lot 🎉🎉 but in 2:18 Trailer brake must be on when backing up the tractor under it

Took my test yesterday I had a booklet from 2019 so a lot of new questions came up I failed :/ but when I came across this video a lot of the ones I failed are on here so it looks like it’s pretty accurate ama study these videos n give it another try I’ll give u guys a update in a week or so

I’m confused so it was a question that said you should back under a trailer if the air brakes is off but then a few questions later it says you should not back a trailer until the whole air system is at normal pressure so shouldn’t the answer to the question prior be you should all back under a trailer if the trailer brakes are on to ensure the trailer doesn’t move while coupling bc you’re supposed to supply the air tank before you even couple so I’m confused on why you would turn the air lines off

Im from new york, will these study guides really help me ? for the year 2021??? I keep reading mixed comments of people saying it helped them and some people say it didnt help because these questions were not on the exam, can someone answer truthfully please before I waste my time, thanks!!

im currently using cdl prep. dmv geenie i started out reading the handout first read genereal knowledge and stopped in the middle of the airbreaks and started the using the apps to study and test my self.. it helped me rmemebr the answers.. but from what i hear they say on the test they MIGHT word it different but i mean the handbook is just too much to remember but hey idk.. from nyc also by the way test is march 17

please please please, make one for the actual DMV questions, just like you guys did with the basic 3 for the cdl test. I've studied other study guides and have failed that one test miserably, please help! I was suppose to start working last week, but can't because of the stupid rewording and twisted answers for the class c knowledge test! it's as if their making you fail on purpose on just that section of renewing license process

Hey i got a question.. So i live in flagstaff arizona.. I have a cdl b with a tankers endorsement... im trying to get a cdl CLASS A... My question is would i just need to take the combination test? Or would i have to rentake the air brakes and general knowledge tests?? Please help ! Very educational videos i know just about every answer now 😎

Hi, I'm not sure about AZ but in your case here in Florida you would just need to take Combination and General Knowledge assuming that you have Air Brakes. Hope this helps, if you want to get a more accurate answer I would check your state's website. Thanks and good luck on getting your CDL Class A.

I had a strange question on combination vehicle test yesterday, that wasn't in the CDL manual. Can anyone answer, it made me curious because I think they're all possible true answers. You are driving on a dirt road and come to an unmarked R/R crossing. Which one is most likely to occur? A) The ground under the tracks may be unstable. B) Your tires may get stuck in the dirt. C) Your landing gear may get hung up on the tracks.

I've noticed the same thing. This test has the correct answer. The first has the wrong answer. A tractor jackknife is when you lose steering control, and the trailer continues to move forward. You should let up on the brakes (if you can do safely) until you gain control.

If you Google the question, its a long definition but the correct answer is When you lock up the drive tires on the tractor and the Tractor spins out sideways as the Trailer continues to push forward.

you guys really need to check your answers properly because some answers you give are 100% wrong...example "what is a tractor jackknife?" should NOT be truck swings to side but trailer ...that is common sense. fix your answers because you are messing people up and making them fail their test.
