I put that same pan on my 2019 1.5yr ago. Great addition. I was too cheap to buy the b&m dipstick kit. Found all of the fittings on amazon and made my own for roughly 1/2 price
Bro killer content!!! Was just having a convo with a buddy who is also getting into MODing and doing their own vehicle maintenance that more POV/DIY vids would be a game changer. Thanks a bunch for these!!
I just bought one. But I’m gonna have local shop do it. Not that I couldn’t do it myself, just getting too cold to roll around on driveway. And I’m also gonna get both diffs and transfer case changed as well.
@@bigj200016 Thank you for the quick response. Heard our transmissions don't handle heat well long term. I think this would def help for that. Probably my next upgrade after I hook up my downpipe.
lol lemme ease your worries with that plastic pan just a bit even though you got rid of it. before i did the 3 inch level with the eibach kit i took my truck at stock height with the rake and all up to mt san jacinto in califoria and bottomed out in some muddy ruts. i dragged the bottom across mud and rocks and even did a mud luge down the windy hill as to not get stuck again when my wheels were coming off the top of these really weak mud ruts. lol the only damage i sustained was i bent my running boards and they became super low profile XD hahaha. also this was when i was still wearing my dynapro tires. oh i actually forgot i did bend the rear skid plate that covers the oil pan. not the big clamshell front part but the little narrow one.
nice add on, looks beautiful! wondering how much more oil you added than stock. 1 0r 2 quarts? is there an aluminum pan for our tranny, too? I guess a skid would be good for that, too. thanks for the fun vid. Keep on keepin on
