Genesis knocked it out of the park with this refresh. Gorgeous inside and out. Great NA V8 under the hood. This is what the Lexus LS used to be like before Turbo V6 blah and touch pad.. Fantastic tech as well. Love those wheels too!
@@Kauffman578 I dont have an official source. I am looking at the units for sale in the marketplace right now where the turbo V6 models outnumber the V8 models many times over You can also take a look at the new inventory on dealers lots and make assumptions based on what is there that the vast majority are not choosing the V8
I bought the 2020 G90 and it is amazing! Like driving in a concert hall with all the luxury needed... The best part is there are very few around, so it is unique.
Car looks modern and old school at the same time and the 5.0 naturally aspirated V8 option...oh yes indeed ! Yes it looks a bit dated inside but that's a refresh so it's understandable !
OMG Hyundai errr I mean Genesis you guys are hitting it out of the park!! I sold Luxury cars from 1999 to 2010 when car sales tanked with the Economy. I moved to Hyundai when I saw what you guys did with the new Sonata. What a great design, after doing my investigating on your customer satisfaction and Improvements in quality, I made my move. Sold Hyundai’s and Genesis for the next 5 years. My Dealer (Pugi) really took great care of my customers. I felt like I was still working for a Luxury store. Love what you are doing with the Genesis brand!! Giving Toyota/Lexus a run for the money!!!! Get em Hyundai/Genesis!!!!! I retired from the car business but miss it everyday.
@@LilRick96 That's an awesome idea thanks man. Mind you just hours ago today in Australia they passed a 'stimulus' package where the government will pay businesses $750/week per worker who's been financially affected - that way businesses can keep workers on their books & resume business like before when the economy picks up - fingers crossed I qualified! I got 'stood down' but the boss made it clear it's "stood down without pay" and we weren't made 'redundant', so technically I'm still employed. Ironically I'd be getting a bigger pay per week under the stimulus, than I was before under the business!
I am now officially a older Male who has made some good investments in life. When I turn 40 in a few years and these G90's hit the used car market I will be ready...
The 2021 G80 is by far the best luxury sedan for its 40-45k base price to come out in the last 10 years. It looks so much better than this G90 inside and out
@@jaredshelton4718 No...there are page(s) of features , options and customization choices available on the 5 series that are not available on the G80 for any price
Nice review. Like most other automakers... the center console is a disaster. Way too tall and wide. Take a long trip in this car and you can never stretchout your right leg. That is superbly annoying.
One of the nicest looking luxury cars on the road. The inside looks just as nice. Wish I could afford one. Genesis did make two mistakes, the V6 should get the adjustable seats just like the V8. Also, the cell phone charger should be wider and deeper.
Cadillac guy here and I test drove this car and wow that’s all I can say 🙂❤️ it’s sad that I told the salesman this feels like what I Cadillac used to be.😔 now Cadillac is just an American bmw knockoff 🙄
This isn’t a refresh. It’s a total redesign. Maybe you should know what you’re talking about before making a video. Holy shit, how were you picked to do this video? The 2021 will be getting a new 3.5 twin turbo with more hp and torque. This is an executive car in Korea with a driver.
turnne www.automobilemag.com/news/2020-genesis-g90-luxury-sedan-photos-specs-info/ “Fully redesigned.” Not my words...every other review except yours. This is just the first article that popped up on Google. The G70 is getting a “refresh.” Yes, I know the difference.:) Are you also going to claim the 2032 G80 only has a “refresh?”
It is not a total redesign. In 2018 this car received the first facelift. A total redesign means that everything in the car may change and the car model will receive a new “internal code name” which is not the case with the current generation G90. Don’t throw your confidence on something so wrong and start criticizing for absolutely nothing. Check other RU-vidrs which is the easiest way for confirmation. The link that you shared actually mentioned that it’s refreshed not redesign “refreshed G90 for 2020”&”heavily redesign “ the appearance of the car not the whole car. I did read the whole article. Greetings.
@@stevewise1656 The tile to that article says "refreshed"...then they go on to later state in the first sentence "heavily redesigned" That adjective means refresh
Steve Wise this is NOT a “total redesign.” It is a refresh. It is not completely redesigned from the ground up. They changed the front and rear end look and made a small handful of interior changes that are barely noticeable. It’s virtually identical to the 2017-2019 G90. A simple refresh.
You wake up in hospital wondering what hit you. Then you see the gauze pattern adorning your wrecked body and you know Hyundai's auto emergency brake assist failed!
It's still a Korean car, no matter how great it looks. I'd rather be seen in a high end American or European auto. You you guys should be ashamed of yourselves going Gaga over some Korean car.
Poor Hyundai and their Genesis brand, what a waster of resources. Just include it in Hyundai lineup, with economy now crumbling no one buys old school luxury. And they are so late to market with SUVs, would have been nice in 1990s.
@Tyrel Tolliver Except...these genesis sedans haven't been "flying" out of the showrooms. Far more expensive sedans ( from BMW and Mercedes) have been outselling them at a higher price. For instance..a Mercedes S class sells at 3x-4X the amount of Genesis G90's and at 50K more
