It may be very small but that bullet proof 125 cc packs a punch, not afraid for a long rides at any time.

Bought my red Monkey last May. One of the best things I’ve ever bought. SUCH good fun to ride. I love it to bits. Not cheap but beautifully built.

Picked one up recently and it was erroneously registered as a 2 seater. I ordered some passenger pegs from Thailand and I've been using it to pick my daughter up from school

300 miles on me banana yellow and i love it!! very honda, all parts very nice. hoses, wires, hangers, real chrome on stainless...has to be the most comfy ride one can get!

I love my 2019 Monkey, so much fun to ride and mod. The 2020 Blue version is such a great color too.

I like them all, if I was planning to make a personal look on it I would have picked black, but I found yellow just so funny looking so ended up with that, but I think they all look great, and they ride the same :)

I've heard a lot of comments about the cost and comparing it to others mini bikes and I've been guilty of that too. Some things I'll say about that are the build quality and attention to detail are said to be way above other mini bikes, even the Grom. Also, I feel that Honda is targeting the boomer and older Gen X generation who remembers them from their youth, are looking for youthful fun and have more disposable income. I also think this can be said about the Cub and Trail. I bought a Kymco Spade that I'm having a blast on, but look forward to getting a Monkey and/or maybe Trail down the road. I plan on keeping it stock and for a long time as a heritage bike to be handed down to the upcoming generation.

Buy one I have had mine for nearly a year . Have covered 1500 miles brings a smile to my face every time I ride . If you both buy one you will have such a laugh my mate bought one as well 😀😀😀😀😀😀

I have a 2020 model. It was doggy; until, I went 100 miles. Then, it seemed to open up the power. Also, the best addition was a universal Spitfire windshield. It really helped maintain speed in any wind. A total different bike.

Awesome video... Purchased my 2019 Red Monkey 1-week ago, just couldn't resist the retro styling and fun factor. Should go well with my 2019 Goldwing I purchased last year......talk about extremes in motorcycling. :-)

I sat on one at the bike show when they introduced it along side the new cub. This was my favorite of the entire show. I considered trading one of my bikes for this but I had a tw200 for a bit and already done the small bike thing. Still the monkey is a special bike and great to teach someone on.

I own/ride a Softail Street Bob and am waiting for the arrival of (As a runabout) of a new Monkey Bike. The effort of getting the Harley out of my back yard for a short run is simply not worth while. The monkey will be ideal. One important point you failed to mention was. Unless very well locked up monkey Bikes are very easily STOLEN. Keep in mind these bikes are not toys. To finish I enjoyed the video.

1 down 3 up and combined brakes, get big bore kits, ohlins, yoshimura, akra, termigoni the stuff you get for every big bike, great seeing someone who has never ridden one seeing the point of these bikes, can use all the power without losing ya license, and even better when there are a few of ya out on them its grins all day and ya dont give a crap what the pisstakers think ya smiling all day. Before your mate buys one get them to check out the cost of the insurance. My mate who's got a full clean licence and no claims bought 1 as a second bike and it costs him something ridiculous like £450 which is loads more than his MT09SP costs him.

@@florme6494 he said it's a common problem on the Monkey bike forums with only a couple of insurers even prepared to provide a quote. He's in his late 20's and got a F1rst on his IAM advanced test so is a good rider too. Not sure if it's because they are being stolen or crashed a lot or because learners can ride them or a combo of the lot but the insurers obviously see them as high risk

I think this would be one of the best, you need to learn how to shift gears but it is easy first down the rest up, I'm getting one this week and last time I had an MC was back in 89-90 so I'm fresh too :)

Cloggsy Goodwin it’s not about where they are built it’s about quality control,and good components being used. I do think that £3,500 is a bit on the steep side,if Honda could knock this out for £2,400 they would be onto a real winner.some Chinese bikes are making some nice bikes now but from my experience of owning one,is the worry of getting certain parts after the three year warranty is up.

@@jasonclarke7422 i don't know about the Benelli but we have Chinese Skyteam and Jingchen Honda ST 50 ST 125 Dax and monkey 50cc replica's for over 20 years and they're crap, costing around 1800. A Kawa Z125 is 5K

@@joecamel6835 I actually get over 150 mpg (151 mpg) on my Monkey during a lot of fill-ups. I got 126 mpg once when I ran wide open on the highway all day. Normally I never get below 142. So we have to agree to disagree.
