My parents have this lots of fun to drive with that turbo! It handles great and feels sporty. Trunk space is limited as you show the third row is usually down most of the time because of that. Also that slopping roof on the back cuts off a lot of head room and trunk space which you showed with the stroller. Great review, keep up the good work! 👌👌
I’m surprised you made no mention of the cramped leg room in the drivers seat. There so little room for your legs, side to side...my right leg was consistently up against the lower dash. The car was fun to drive, but that was a deal breaker. Salesman said that wasn’t the first time they heard that.
Am I mistaken but I don't see that you actually drove and reviewed the driving characteristics of the CX-9. That's where it surpasses Tellurides and others.
Mazda doesn't have as much R&D cash as most other car manufacturers so they can't/won't/don't offer the latest and greatest tech or features. Hopefully with Toyota helping them (TOY owns 5%) so hopefully things will change.
Correct me if im wrong but isnt the HUD only available for grand touring and above? Touring doesnt have it? Its definitely a life saver and i dont want to drive another car without it. One thing i dont like about the grand touring though is the camera. Its got 360 but its so low quality its really hard to see lines/road markings/pavement especially when its sunny and bright outside. Love the driving quality though. Responsive and it does make you feel like youre in control at all times.
The camera quality has significantly improved in the 2021 version of the CX-9. Check other reviews of the 2021 version where the camera quality is reviewed in more detail.
This seems like the interior space packaging was overlooked. I hear one of the best interior packing is the traverse. Lots of combined legroom and still luggage space.
I also have a 10 month old and this same vehicle. We have a chicco convertible car seat. Fits perfectly with at least 1-2” from the driver/passenger seat. Fits width wise of the seat itself. If you put the cup holders onto the seat, then it does overlap into the next seat by a few inches.
@@HolyShiyytBro I actually just bought 2 extend2fits! One for my 10m old and one for our newborn! I’ll see how it fits all the way reclined in the 2nd row for our newborn
I have a 2018 Touring. We have UppaBaby Mesa and Graco Extend to Fit w Safety Surround carseats. We will be switching our 22m old from her bucket seat to a regular car seat ASAP so considering another Graco or Diono!
One of the worst cars on the planet. Never buy a Mazda. Complete JUNK. You will have little issues the entire time you own it and realize it's not even close to the class of car they market it as. Buy a Toyota instead. Also, HUD's are the most overrated "features" on new cars.
