2020 Peterbilt 389, 78" Standup sleeper, Diamond White! 

I workedin the Madison , TN plant from 2004-2008 . The trucks were pre-emmissions and we built them as quickly as possible. The coolest thing was the robotically painted cabs/ hoods / sleepers. Peterbilt always stressed quality and they treated us well. I always thought we should put out a good product-we owed our customers that. They did not put out trucks to put on lots-every one was sold before it was built. Thank you , Peterbilt, for the opportunity!

Badass Tractor Trailer, that Peter Bilt engine is awesome.

Diamond White always look's great with chrome, nice set up for a truck, agree on the painting of light back's and center fuel, grey inside looks good, storage is normal for the set up, from what I could see it needs a light tint on the sleeper windows to reduce glare and provide a bit of heat reduction.

Man that can make a man come out of retirement,mercy such great memories of my two month drive of that white 379 back in the day ,i was stuck on freightshaker for so long but i finally got in a pete and could have kicked myself.mercy.

This is one fine ass wagon dragger, but trying to keep it clean, wow. I can imagine how it would look after running through a snow storm. Sure is a beautiful tractor though. Dream wagon for sure. Love it 😍.

That's my favorite color. I never had a chance to drive a peterbilt before. Only volvos and freightliner. Hopefully, some day I will have my own pete

Back in my trucker days i drove a 379 for two months which was my fault i was stuck on driving a freightshaker,i could have drove a brand-new on in 97 but know i want the freightshaker boy did i missed out.

Dpf and re gen system costs around 16k in parts and labor to replace. That’s every part from the manifold to tip of muffler. Mine 07 cost 150$ from exhaust manifold to tip of muffler.

The model 389 just needs a digital speedometer and pull out table/bench for paperwork and it would be all round perfect. Wish Peterbilt would add update the 389 with those options.

This would be like driving a limousine. I live in Australia and I am currently driving a K200 stretch cab (2019) model, which is like dressing mutton up as lamb. It's still only a cab over . !!!!!

that really is a nice white, i thought the flame red my pete 388 was painted in was nice, that whites would be a hard one to decide between. wonder if its possible to convert a non air ride front end to air ride? same axle and springs or are they different?

That's a fantastic color! Love that! Not a fan of button lights though. It would have more of a classic look without the button style lights. And the headlights need to be changed out. But thats up to the buyer, obviously.

Hey Keith, purchased one of your trucks a little over a year ago. Awesome truck, a little feedback on the light kits. Almost all the lights under the sleeper and doors went out with in a year. The lights in front and rear are different manufacturer and there perfect. Maybe chrome country could put those lights in the sleeper and can light bars. Love the videos and I’ll be back next year.

Is it possible to get that size sleeper WITHOUT the windows in the side of the sleeper? ,I have asked another youtube Peterbilt dealer the same question about two years ago ,But I NEVER got a response on my question.

Maybe around $180,000 dollar truck , What's the mileage pr gallon? 5 or 6 This is for a trucker with deep pockets and great credit . Be prepared to stay on the road for awhile to pay for this tractor.

Everybody's complaining about rates being shit, but if y'all look where you should be looking (online) rate prices have hiked hard within the last year. Drivers are making more money than they ever have and theres a national shortage of drivers. Now's the best time to get in. Weather the few bad loads, eat a 1.30 a mile on an owner op truck to get to the good freight loads 2.40pm. Good luck y'all and see ya out there.
