I mean, it’s one thing for Ford to make this wiring loom from the factory, computer aided but for those guys to add a sea of wires into every knock and cranny all over the car and it all work perfectly is something else. Well done guys.
I work for a decal graphics company.. we are now making decals for sheriffs department and city police. we had installed some decals on them.. they are a nice set up! great work team!
Nice Chris and Guys that did installation :) I think the Whelen Ion in front and on mirrors are great light output. The REAR Ion's are AWESOME and love the secondary to go to white steady burn. Ion's Great Punch of Light. Thanks for your efforts in sharing this. Be safe and Healthy.
Beaverton Police have been one of the long-time friends at SIRENNET over the years and they love to get their installs done at Star Cars. Great relationship!
2:23 I never thought about putting the cage in first and bolting it in 🤯🤯, then putting that large filler part in the middle. It’s always difficult to install those the way Setina shows in there instructions. Please tell Star Cars thank you for tip from one Upfitter to another 👍👍👍👍
Nice, would be interesting to see upper rear bumper strip, so you can open the boot (trunk), and still have scene safety. And more side warning, the heavy tint appears to reduce the light output quite a bit. Most scenes I've needed more off axis warning due to a diagonal fend off position. Nice wiring job, like the under mount, reminds me of the old school relay boards that used to be on the trucks. Troubleshooting was fun. 😭
Love it! I would honestly prefer a Federal Signal Integrity or just the Liberty with a Bloomfield Police Department lighting set up. Great install nonetheless!
I would of did a slower quad flash x pattern with the mirror and bumper lights would really pop ... a slighty different pattern on roof bar to keep the colors separated also a slow pattern on the intersectors
How can you tell the difference between the regular V6s and the ecoboosted ones if you were to judge the car from outside and not look under the hood? Also are police using the regular V6s or the ecoboosted?
its configurable if you want it or not to do so i have the ally override over the door open kill when turned on on my cencom system its possiblities for setup is limitless this is a pretty simple example of the abilities of the system
That'd be hard to jive with the CarBide System. Patterns and controlling the bar with the other lighting to this same settings & wiring basis wouldn't be possible.
@@SIRENNET do you know what lightbars they use in the uk i think they have federal signal and wheelen blue and white at the front and blue and red at the back
@@thepurdychannel8866 There's a pretty wide range of manufacturers being used through out the UK. If you have pictures or a video we can try our best to identify them.
It's from Setina: E-Z Lift Cargo Deck with Tray, PART# TK2307ITU20. If you're interested please contact our Sales Team - (888) 959-0911 or info@sirennet.com
Both Danny & Devin have since moved onwards into new carriers. They're both amazing young men and we're so glad to have them in our past videos :) But... you never know when someone might make an appearance ;)
Driver Red and Passenger Blue in more traditional. Here in Oregon you'll see a lot of color variances between the different agencies. There's even a few that run their lightbars as all Blue.
@@SIRENNET Thank you I was wondering why they have chosen that color placement ( Blue right Red Left and not the opposite 🙂🤔) I apologize if I didn't make the question clearer. Great videos 👍🏼 BTW are you open to the public or is the showroom still closed? Thank you
Wig wags fitted to factory lights should be wired so when you have main beam / high beams, the wig wags are over ridden so you can see the road. Driven many different configurations and installed many, love the older Whelan kit, not keen on the computerised interfaces but see how fleet management has the need.
