I was a Land Rover nut, but this thing is bloody awesome, it’s a shame that I won’t be able to test its full capability as I’m in England, but I’ll watch loads of your videos instead 😁
You will definitely feel how smooth they are over the leaf sprung trucks, catch 22 can’t load it up to the eyeballs bu it’s a good excuse to keep it all simple heading out 🤙🏼
Nice run through on the changes. We have a 2018 FX4 and the rear vents was definitely a bug bear. Just ordered replacement fascia to add some switch points in for the light bar and UHF. Can't wait for them to arrive so I can install it. Cheers 🍻
Good to see you back in a Raptor mate. Are you going to have a look into ForScan through the OBD port to do some tweaks ? There seem to be a few simple mods that I think will improve the Raptor like, turn off double beep etc.
Nath I had a bit of a look into Forscan a while ago and seemed a bit compex for me to work out..? But if there is one thing that annoys me more than any other feature is that 🤬 double beep!!! 😂
So it looks like all the good stuff what my Everest has is missing on the raptor, if the Everest only would share the awesome suspension of the raptor!

Hi Dameo. Congrats on the new UTE! It is always with great interest that I watch the small differences between different models in different markets. My 2019 Raptor has the small tray in the center console and it does have 2 USB ports at the bottom. None at the mirror. My 2019 still has the manual pasganger seat and the HID lights, but I do believe the new 2020 spec here comes with electric passenger seat and LED headlights. Mine also has the pre-collision warning system, but I believe the 2020 has an upgraded system. You can adjust the sensitivity in the vehicle settings. I still have the "old" sync 3 headunit. Does your 2020 model also now have the indent in the front of the tub? Is saw your 2018 model had the "flat" front like the older spec Rangers. The newer spec Rangers as well as my 2019 Raptor has the indent in the front which does not mean much, apart from allowing Ford quoting a longer load-bed figure in the brochure and taking away your storage behind the rear seats.
Thanks mate, I also like to see the slight differences around the world, that’s why I was kinda hoping for the 2xUSB in the centre console it’s a cool inclusion as most things these days charge from USB. our 2020 has still got the flat front of the tub...I’m not really sure if there would be too much benefit for that little nook space?? 🤔
@@RoundTheFire Like I said, it only allows Ford to quote a longer "Cargo Floor Length" on the spec sheet. The Raptor here on the spec sheet is 1743mm and the other models are given as 1549mm. Strangely, I have seen of the other models here also with the indent at the front on dealer floors. Even more strange, on Ford Australia's site, the Raptor also has a 1743mm floor length...
Good to have you back mate. Not that it’s important now but what was the final wrap up with the old raptor ? Insurance write it off or did you decide to move it on?
FordPass? Or will you still buy A GPS tracker? Good to see you got wheels quickly again. Hope you were able to get all options out of the previous Raptor. And didn't forget the power tuning. Some insurance companies over here would make objections when chip isn't in insurance or when you're over your yearly estimate driving distance.
Tough, but with your usage and distances travelled, insurance companies herewould surely want to complain that it is over the estimated yearly distance as agreed when signing the policy. Surely your video is a wake-up call for many fellow viewers. To double check what's insured and what isn't. So maybe also a great video theme.
G'day Mate, the stock front bumper is still only made of plastic, it seems to be a fairly hardened type though. I have pushed a few small trees with it without seeming to phase the bumper? I wouldn't hold high hopes against a square hit on a roo while at pace but there definitely isn't any flex in the bar to the point where I'm actually thinking about mounting a light bar directly too it and feeling confident there won't be any flex or shake...?

Sorry mate Ive only just seen this message now, you could fit another child in there but it would be tight. Ive been told that you can have a 3rd factory fitted child seat hook mounted for the middle so you can run 2 seats side by side and a spare seat by the door might be a better plan?
Sure will mate, DP Chip is the first thing I’ll be doing. I was very happy with the last one and felt very confident that they aren’t over tuned to flog the engine 👌🏼

hi ,Im miguel from argentina ,I have one of those fords ,i am a farmer and use alltime on dirty roads ,good points ,suspencion ,off road aptitude,style ,engine, now im using ,power chip and trothlle power box by Race Chip from germany bad points ,no need electric seat if dont have memory ,its an off road vehicle ,and its expensive ,mat over mats,i have to buy specila mud mat,driver ,co pilot and passenger ,inner fender covers the are made of same kind of carpet ,when you go to the mud they are timewaister regards
I think it’s worth it mate. It’s not going to turn the truck into a rocket 🚀 but the difference is noticeable. Check out the video I did where I put the Raptor on the dyno to show the difference 👍🏻
I will mate, fairly surprised/happy with how much junk they actually catch. I only really had a chance to run the last one for about 10-15000ks so I’m keen to see a longer outcome go at it 👍🏻

The 2L has more power than the 3.2? the Raptor has less GVM and Towing because of the "FOX suspension" not the engine. You can Jump a Raptor, you can't do that with a 3.2

Im happy with this 4 banger, blows EVERY Cruiser that has has offered a run. I think the price of the V8 Raptors (If they ever come) is a bit wild...could buy 2 trucks for the price of 1.
@@gmarshall1026 It certainly would be epic! Im seeing a lot of talk around the new V6 motor that might be entering service soon...it won't have the grumble note of a v8 but the power figures suggested are very impressive.
