did you have any issues as the result of installing the catch-can? I am getting blowback and the mist is leaking where the intercooler hose connects to it so I am thinking of getting one.
But both have the same engine, they should be the same, that's the driver's problem. Starting in 2023, the bt50 has an IZUZU engine, 1000 times more powerful and resistant than that of the ranger or hilux...
Pero las 2 llevan el mismo motor, deberian quedar igual, eso es problema de conductor. A partir del 2023, la bt50 lleva un motor IZUZU, 1000 veces mas poderoso y resistente que el de la ranger o hilux...
Still alive mate, thanks for checking in. I blew my back out early last year, put me out of action. Slowly on the mend now, physio twice a week keeps me fairly tied down.
I’m still driving a Raptor almost identical to this one. (The one in the review got stolen not long after this video was posted and replaced by a 2020 Raptor) I personally haven’t encountered ANY major or minor problems with my Raptor and it certainly gets used for purpose. Other than superficial wounds on the plastics and bumpers due to ruff use in the bush there hasn’t been any other mechanical problems to date. The only limiting factor I can say bothers me now that my kids get older and our camping evolves is the limited tow capacity, but that’s not really a show stopper.
Makes me miss my old 40 Series it had a dip stick on the second tank , does the raptor have a MANUAL fuel primer? so you can do roadside fuel filters changes ?
Thanks for the video man. I used the stedi panel instead but watched how you took the panels off. I had to solder 2 wires in the back of the 12v plug to light my switches up.
It's not fair fight, raptor is overall advantaged, considering it's electrically and computerized and torque is much more powerfull. Raptor is in another category. Bt 50 looked like ordinary 😮
