The higher compression of the 5.2l is a balanced platform. It gives you high and low end torque with a taller rpm and powerband. The gt500 is set up neutral from factory. Why add the 300 lbs in cooling capacity and not up the boost. The demon is running the same 6.2l engine as the hellcat with higher boost and more cooling capacity.
Having traction issues the 305 always bog down unless you have traction control off, but definitely gotta have some grip i just got a widebody redeye and its almost like giving each car the hit because of traction control

What stock cars closest in price to gt500 (besides plaid) consistently beats a stock gt500 60-130mph? Maybe a 911 turbo s? Or do you have to jump all the way up to $300k for a McLaren 720s?

Make sure you run these settings in custom makes huge difference: Trans: Track Suspension: Street Traction: Sport Hold down the (-) paddle shift for 3 seconds and then floor it and the TCU will shift on its own at redline. You should be on his bumper
Why do you keep downshifting or pressing the right paddle shifters? Everytime you put it on Manual (2nd) - then let the car do its thing bro (it will Automatic Shifts and do it for you)... you only press the right if you wna get out or back to Auto..

Yes, I used to own a charger hellcat and now own a gt500. Keep the hellcat in auto, hold down the left paddle and your car will downshift to to lowest gear. Next, hit the gas and let the car shift for you.

New Pulley and E85 and youll b right there. Also y do u click the downshift trigger multiple times? Just hold it and itll put u in the perfect gear....

If you paid close attention to the vid, there were only a couple of fairly clean runs. The GT500 is clearly quicker but the gap wasn't that big. I wouldn't say "kill". There are a couple other gt500 vs redeye roll race vids out there and they aren't clean runs. E85 tune/ pulley Redeye would freight train a stock gt500 not just "b right there".
@@ms3ben yea it’s still a drivers race in my opinion. Definitely not a kill. I wonder how it would stack up against a demon or the super stock from a roll since they only have like 10/11 more horsepower than the stock redeye. I know from a dig all 3 would be beat the GT500.
It’s all about preference I don’t like the look of Mustangs nor the rack it’s no backseat I got a challenger cause I like the body of the car trim was second for me style first if you wanna be fast go mustang cause they easier to build and som like the look
